I spent $4,000 on boxes, this is the result

Not true in my case I had summer boxes out 2020 in my storage opened it in october 2022 and it still gave me the summer 2020 ring

He said he spent 4.000 dollars and no seasonal ring and said i spent 28.000 dollars and got just 1 from seasonal boxes. and when i opened them each one was worthing about 1.5p and not 0.30 pec

After all you invsted like 1250p on box mu, got back the 1250p just from pills, and around 1000p more mu from amps, rings, mayhem tokens. Sure you not received as much skill pills as you would get from 4k usd starter packs, but you still got a lot of skill pills too.
Less universal ammo is no issue. The more universal ammo you got the more 1% from shrapnel conversion you missed out.

I would open as many boxes as i could with break even after box mu and withdraw fees, if the rings would actually worth to be looted. Currently all rings are trash in the boxes.

Wanted to take some time to think about it before responding myself. What I think it boils down to is: Perception matters. While my results were average to above average, as most have confirmed, it was still a bad experience for me.
So while my expectations have been re-calibrated, the other issue is value recognition. What I opened is technically $4,000 worth, but it doesn't feel as though what I opened is worth $4,000. My viewpoint on that will refine over time as I learn what to sell, what to keep, use, and how far that ammo will take me.

That is where you are wrong. You didnt opened 4000 USD worth.
You opened 1250 ped / 125 USD worth of boxes and got about 225-250 USD value from them.
The 4000 USD was the TT ammount you put into the game, and you got that TT into the game.

This is the correct interpretation.

And for myself I opened at least 20k + seasonal boxes (I have 20k ish strong boxes in my inventory that came with the keys and tt'd a bunch before I started to keep them)

I still have yet to loot any seasonal rings. No complaints just to give you an idea that 4k boxes and no rings is no big deal.
 
I also have no idea why there should be any complaints regarding this and I call it good run. 15mg pills + NeuroA + Mayhem tokens alone already covering all markup lost on 4k box price. And there are a lot more markup from amps and other pills.

Well you did their work, I kept saying they need to post the odds, I'd say this does it.

True, tho compared to other games lootboxes i understand the expectation levels of new players.

Not to mention community hype that some say. "You surely hit something big".

I consider what he got good result, but then again i know what to expect. 🙂

its pretty obvious that it matters when you open. i opened a bunch of boxes randomly and never got a ring. i started waiting until others got rings and started opening and got a lot of rings (though no seasonals). its wave based loot after all, just like everything else in the game

I doubt it's about odds either that or not naming the person is either opening alot box's or figured out their wave system. Alot rings in last 24 hours alone been looted by .... So I'd say it's more wave based or their opening 20k + box's last 24 hours based on ops posting odds.
 
That Box opening prooves that BOX MU is always easily paid just by the pills as long as boxes are available so super low like 0.35p/ea +/-
