Now, hear me out, I know you guys hate subscriptions BUT.

Imagine a terminal where you go. You insert PED and for 30 days you have extra space in both storage and inventory. This would be pure QOL, completely optional, available to all players and have no negative impact on any part of the market.

Say 250 storage and 50 inventory item points for 50 ped a month? I would definitely pay that to be able to organize my storage and carry all the gear I want with me.

Here comes the fun (but unrealistic) part:

The money goes into a hof-fund! We have somewhere around 4-5000 players, if 1000 used this feature that would add up to 50,000 ped. Drop these as 1k ped loots and we would have 1.67 extra happy players a day!

Waiting for you all to tell me why this is stupid and would crash the market for mind essence.

I don’t personally have a problem with storage size( to poor to horde stuff)

However I like the concept. MA need to generate new ways to create revenue and things like this could work!

Yeah we should absolutely give more money to MA, imo we should do a gofundme page for MA so they can turn up return wouldn't that be nice?

I have a ton of stuff, I solve storage by using pitbulls. Was supposed to color them to organize things but never got to it. For me the inventory would be the big QOL. I carry a bunch of armors and plates with me (think five sets of each?) and like to have a variety of weapons too. It adds up quite fast and every now and then I hit the limit.

Please MA give bicc a fat hof. I want happy bicc back!

you already have an infinite storage, right?

it just doesnt display more than 500.

i like the idea of a hof-fund though, sponsored completely by the players.

i'd like to know what mobs you guys who deposit into this fund hunt, so i can take part of it :D

Yeah not helpful when it is over the limit since I can't merge stacks properly and it is a lottery what I can view
buy cheap storage boxes for a couple of peds each, and put specific things into specific boxes. organize that loot in boxes to make your life easier :)

imagine how many boxes you could buy for 50 peds a month, your storage will become a black hole :D

I already have a bunch of pitbulls and it is annoying 😅

Think I have about 2000 items in Calypso storage. I would like to be able to have all stackables and a variety of blueprints in main storage while only using containers for hoarding purposes. I also tend to collect unnecessary stuff

Edit: Btw, saw you were buying something with a locked thread but your profile is restricted so people can't PM.

Buy pitbulls > give crafters work > give miners work = create MU and turnover.

Fuck that. I have a better idea:

1. Insert coin for MA.
2. Complain that there are no MU in the game and no need to keep cycling.

Just... why?

Auction is worst problem, not as hunter, but you miner/carfter you are very limited

What MU?

It is a one time purchase and I have enough of them to last me a life time. It is also a horrible way to store stuff.

That one pitbull per person that disappear won't have any affect at all on market.

Edit: Also, I don't complain about MU since I have done my research.

Pitbull uses: 7 different ores and 4 different enmaters to be created (+ residue).

And you are not alone in this game. Its about the population as a whole. Some demand. Some suppliy.
Wtf do we get to supply if MA takes care of providing everything for a coin?

I can understand that. When I did P20s it are up my slots real quick. Can't imagine doing a variety of armor, amps and enhancers.

So that is... 10 ped lifetime MU?

If proceedings are returned in loot as suggested then every player who decides to pay for it is contributing five times that every month rather than just once effectively raising the overall returns for other players including markup.

And 250 extra points ain't gonna remove the need for containers.

Its something. Bit here, bit there.
Whats the point of taking it from returns in one place to make it return in another, except destroying any MU in the process?

We need a live economy. People demand and supply for PEOPLE.
We had vendors for years now. Did they make things better? Vendors do not create demand. They just supply at 100% MU.

Thanks for the heads up, it should be changed now.

It would have nooooooo impact on the pitbull market. People would buy this for convenience and not because of the actual item points in storage. I would still need my pitbulls that I have and I would still never ever buy another one just like most others.

Here is how supply and demand work:
If you have no need for extra storage, you wont buy a pitbull for it.
Saying that destroying the need for extra storage wont affect the item that creates that extra storage capacity.... is absolute nonsense.

Thing is, the moment they try this model and realize its potential, it will be everywhere. New features will be developed with paid expansion in mind, leaving the base functionality severely crippled. Old features will be expanded beyond any meaningful balance. 20 tier slots and 10 fingers on the premium subscription, anyone?

The demand and supply of pitbulls would not be effected by such a change.

I wouldn't sell mine and I am never buying another one whether or not this change would be made. I am pretty certain the same applies to the majority of players.

I am thinking QOL changes only has impact on the experience of the game. If the game gets crippled and a subscription is needed for it to function properly then I think most of us are out.

Limiting storage to 250 points and making people pay for 500 would be a complete fuckup as we had 500 item points for as long as I remember.

Its not about you. If you are no longer part of this demand, its ok. Others will be, if you give them the chance.

Your QoL does NOT have to come from a MA vendor.

Please, stop asking MA to give shit for a coin.
Ask them to give tools for players to comply with such demands. To craft/hunt/mine/achieve those QoL changes for themselves and others.

It creates supply and demand, that will end up creating MU for us, players.
It creates turn over, that will give MA more than enough money to function properly.

So what are you suggesting? Inventory tokens? Because as of today there is no solution for inventory (vehicles are not).

Craftable expansion kits?
Tokens from dynamic events?
Mining/hunting/crafting events?
Quest chains?
Achievemnt rewards?

Random QoL tokens in loot like UT but drops from all activities, feed 50 tokens to terminal and you get what I suggested?

If it makes you hunt/mine/craft more, than yes (Not to be a side reward for current activity). Idea is to increase the turn over, especially for out of regular events period, motivating people with choice and purpose.

This idea will fit some and for others it will not, but the reason I doubt they will create something
like this are the problems that occur when we stop paying, and then having too many things in inventory.

One alternative could be to give us one extra point for every Stamina we have, or something similar.

Giving points based on stamina would limit the suggestion and not bring any kind of revenue.

We can already put more than 500 items in inventory, it just stops working properly and would you have too many items in inventory when it runs out, you'd be over encumbered
