Repeating in a separate thread because of importance:

A hunter: "I hunt like 20hours out of 24 during mayhem times! You think I like doing that? No I don't"

- There should be a system to end your suffering. And yes. It can be made to work. I would give players who had a 100+ lvl or had paid 10k+ usd , an auto-hunt facility with a sort of hunting cap. You should not suffer because you play as uber. It is wrong business logic and kills the MA profit (many players leave the game or do not join at all as there is suffering for ubers). It kills the players' joy. Unnecessary. Just needs innovation.

I really think something which works very well for MA and the players can be innovated, and can significantly increase player satisfaction. Any suggestions from Uber Hunters?

Don't tell me that you can informally (illegally) automate things to some extent, a native formal legal solution which is much better (and considers the many variables it should) can be innovated. Don't you agree?

There can be a cap and you do the 20 hours work in 2 hours. Or in 15 hours but in a way it is automatically done in your second monitor while you do other work and check from time to time?

no pain, no gain...

edit: this means that if something is easy, everyone will do it, and there will not be any merit or achievement in doing so.
The only way you can be successful in any area is if you are willing to put in more effort then average joe is.

Idea: auto-choose-next-mob-after-kill option

no pain, no gain...

Here is not the place to say that, the place is where you (MA i mean) cannot make the pain go reasonably

Idea: mass-mob-kill-with-cool-off-period option

I am sure the game logics which make Uber players suffer in practice will be explicitly banned in future in Europe (or will be suffer-capped). Being on a chair for too long time is life threatening.

I am sure MA can innovate something.

Ma has already turned a blind eye to all the macro'ing , botting and auto keyboards hammering the F button idk what more you could ask ?

Dont hunt so much you suffer, you can play other games too or do other stuff

You are not a uber , why do you talk in theyr name 😂 ?

Someone in the other thread brought F1 into the conversation.

I wonder why F1 resets the rules after every few years (somewhere between 4 to 8 years?).

It is not fair on the top teams..

but it keeps things interesting.

They realize that if the reset doesn´t exist the game will die. Bottom teams will quit and they are left with a bad product they cannot sell.

Yet here in this game we are still using the same meta for 15 years that is bringing clear *cough good results. Make of that what you want...

I´m looking forward to this VU as many things seem to have changed recently at MA that might start to pay out. What i ask the most is that they are on top of their game and adress the all loot at one time issue that plagues every event recently.

P.S: Those hyper inflated item prices. Check how the real estate is currently working in many city center and how over priced the rent is. Understand why it happens and if you are smart enough you will understand why those guns are so expensive.

Relevant from another thread:

No, it's due to laziness and a lack of ability to come up with a creative outside the box solution for a mining event.

For example... What if there were instances created for mining where some new resources were found when mining. These resources were the only thing that could be found in the instance and they were used in special L blueprints that could craft L event gear.

People could mine like crazy without affecting markups of regular resources. And crafters would have a new thing to craft with some beefy markup. And with it all being limited would mean that any affect on the economy would eventually clear itself out.

Biggest problem is they are lazy and only want to try to cram events within what exists already rather than coming up with a better system. People keep shelling out money though so what do they care?

Maybe the special ore or a TWEN Mining Token out of the Mining TWEN instance can be used for crafting/buying auto-hunting and mass-hunting tools and capabilities, sold to hunters, to take pain out of the Uber Hunting? And there can be hunting caps or other logic preventing bad outcomes from mass-hunting.

Mass-hunting can be a feature of gun/melee through attachments or enhancers.

It can be restricted to Mayhem instances at the beginning.

When you do not understand, it does not mean it is stupid. Use your brain with an open mind.

Not sure what you mean by meta, but.....

You cannot just change things in a game that is a RCE game, it would need to be surgically implemented because it has real money effects. We are all investors (Or maybe gamblers?) to a small extent, and if we don't trust the system that we operate we would not play and MA would go bankrupt. The trust factor is seriously important.

It is not just money/investment in my case. There are better ways of investment.

I like metaverse. And the future EU I guess will be a fun metaverse. That we gain can be icing on the cake.

Much improvement is needed, though. Unreal 5 seems to be a good move.

I've cut back on my game play due to wrist and hand issues in the past few weeks. RSI/Carpal tunnel is no joke, no amount of profit in this game is worth physical injury.

That being said, I'm not sure an auto hunt instance is the way to go either.

I'm not sure how MA can do it, but reducing rewards for running accounts 24/7 might be start.

Simple: I think MA and players can get what they get now with these pains, WITHOUT these pains. Example: I kill 1000 creatures in 20 hours, I can be given a 500 autokill-and-loot option with a no-login cool-off time (at least in Mayhem, crafting style through a gun-attachment and its panel). Or another system which does not need to impose physical injury on Ubers.

It is easier on the servers and makes sense for older players. Can also create economy for miners and crafters to create those attachments. Can also fetch extra money to MA from Uber pocket to break the Uber Hunting Pain chain.

It is not hard to know there are issues to be addressed for a solution to work, but the point is: it CAN be addressed.

I think turning boring gameplay into no gameplay isn't the solution ... lol

MA needs to make mobs that punish macroing and reward active gameplay. Stuff like telegraphed attacks you need to avoid or else you take massive damage that you cant just tank, more instances like RDI, etc..

You can use your mass-hunting when you feel unwanted pain. As much as it addresses it.

The pain and boring work is not really part of the game, at least much of it.

Sometimes you quickly want or need your daily 1000 mobs to be killed and results shown (one-by-one or all in all). Or maybe 500 or 250 of the 1000.

Healing etc. can be automated.

Why should MA want to avoid automation if there are control caps as much as needed? And when some people do it illegally (unfair advantage)?

It already is (Lifesteal)

The gameplay is much too robotic already and is the reason most issues in Entropia exist. Every facet of the gameplay has been automated to the point you can just pick the resources you want to extract, set the automation up and go enjoy time with your family. It's not much of a game at that point than it is say mining for cryptocurrencies.

There is 0 time commitment or micro strategy needed to play Entropia. It's all macro (pun intended).

***cough cough, "suck up" cough cough "ass kisser"*** :)

poor ubers only getting all the good shit all the time and making tons of $ playing a video game - ohh the humanity!!!

even they don't want to see a thread like this posted as they know they got it good here.

What you write reveals who you are. You write and reveal about yourself in fact.

I really cared for making things better including for ubers and as a semi-uber I can see and I have experienced the problem and can sometimes find it too boring and not good for health to be this much at keyboard in the game. It happens much more for ubers.

You can be jealous about them but yes they are human and we (most people) care.

"they got it good here"

- This is one of them: "I hunt like 20hours out of 24 during mayhem times! You think I like doing that? No I don't"
And s/he is not alone. We care.
Semi-ubers like me experience the problem to some extent as well.

Why would they? They created the "perceived problem" you are mentioning. Mindark and subsidaries are only looking to increase revenue. I don't really understand how any of you do not understand this. It is always this first. Why would anyone sit at a PC given the way the game works and how unbelievably boring and dull it is? They don't. Most are netflix and play. There are some that are not around at all, perhaps not even in the same zipcode, and perhaps you sort those out - but you'll never know - they sure haven't taken action against any of the people I've reported for recklessly KSing me and were recorded.

There are certain things I won't do or can't do anymore. I can barely play Path of Exile anymore and that is largely due to RSI from this game, long time play some years ago using a controller and then having the wrist fully give out while bowling. (the game play strained, bowling pushed it across the line). The game will always and should always have accessibility features, which is what the F key is. There's no escaping it. Even if accessibility isn't the real reason they added it.

Those accessibility features are the ones being abused and which crippled the gameplay. It's entirely within MindArk's control to build features that support the need for 24/7 play and I believe their contract system, if implemented correctly, can alleviate most of the issue while removing the automated gameplay at the same time. Instead of you sitting at your PC 24/7 or using bots/macros you can hire someone in another timezone to do the work for you, just like how most global companies function although they accomplish this with shift work. This allows you to get your play time in when it suits you and yet still be progressing towards your economic goals.

Yes, skills are lost as you're not performing the tasks yourself on your avatar but there's also nothing stopping you from hiring someone to play your avatar IRL (edit: or buying skills), which should be encouraged over automated gameplay and if they were smart about it MindArk could implement that functionality and charge a fee for using it thereby creating another revenue stream in the process.

You can then hit the gym and work on exercising and building those muscles so that you're not living through as much pain from the repetitiveness of engaging in the Entropia Universe. Yeah, it means suffering now, being tired and uncomfortable so that in 2-3 years you're feeling better than you ever have.
