Hi,

So I decided it was time to announce my new website that I aim to be the full history and archive for Entropia Universe so from Project Entropia days to present and it will be an evolving museum that will also be up to date with new content and pages in the coming weeks and months.

It is a user orientated archive so we need everyone who loves EU to build the archive so there is a full history of the entire game. If you have lore if you have a story then go ahead and submit your stories and your images - This is just the start. I have many new pages planned. This is just the soft launch.

I hope this becomes everyone's home to take a trip down memory lane.

Thanks everyone.

Fun trip down the memory lane! What's the chip looted in the gallery picture from 2005/7?

I do not know because it was not my images. I just uploaded 25 images so the gallery was not empty at launch.

So I wanted to ask you all what do you think it needs. Any suggestions for new pages?

Also this museum relies heavily on the community to help grow the archive and build it's history so if you want to contribute by either submitting images or stories you are very welcome to do so.

One more important thing I forgot to mention.

To contribute any lore/images or even a story is super easy and can be done either by just submitting as a guest or if you really wanted to be a more regular contributor then you could register for a Author account.

I have 3 Roles "Author - Veteran - Super Uber" Then of course my role "Master"

Just to let you all know the site now has a full video archive page where you can also now add videos relating to Entropia Universe.

The preservation has now started so feel free to contribute by adding any images/stories/videos - you can add as many as you like. (can I also say that each image/story/video you add has a unique url so you can even share or link directly to them.)

Just launched a brand new page and feature.

Attractions page will feature exhibits and interactive pages and fun things to keep you immersed and contributing more.

The first attraction is the memory wall. (must be registered and logged in to use it. - Author role allows only 1 session per wall) - I may increase that limit in the future, it depends if this is a success or not.

The Entropia Art Gallery was also meant as preservation of EU’s rare paintings, so that kind of fits with the theme. I think some of the paintings on my list are just simply lost to deleted/inactive accounts, so I’m trying to stem the tide where I can by adding to the collection when possible.

Well now you got a place you can screenshot them and upload them to the Museum :)

Can I also say something really important.

The main reason this site needed to be made is for the community. We are the game, without us the game is souless - I know stories is not something people will have time to write and share but the main purpose of the stories page is to let every person who plays this game share there fun memories or times they have had with friends or even solo.

Even if they are short stories, they do not need to be long. You can even do small stories every once in a while from the memories you have had while playing.

I plan on posting more stories of my times in EU in the future as well. I know the museum has just launched like 5 days ago and the EU community is small and niche. But this museum is for us right now, for the players from days gone by and the future players who might come and play and explore once the UE5 engine is released.

We are all the community and this museum is for us all to grow and build together so in years to come we have somewhere we can say this place is real and this place is our history!

Ok so what the museum was all about is not launched the "History" page

I will be updating this as time goes by it just has some KEY events on it atm. It is interactive. Make sure to check back to see other important dates and history added to it.

The history page is the showpiece and I have tweaked it today - This page is what makes my site live up to the name. So I have to make sure that every single date and event or major update gets properly and accurately reported correctly because failure is not an option.

The page I linked in my above post yesterday is the flagship page so I went out of the way in designing that page alone.

I hope you all enjoy it. I will be updating it in coming weeks/months/years - but the groundwork is now done for that page.

Suggested reading for ideas, links etc.

of particular importance is likely this:

Yes thanks and this is exactly what I need help with - as I stated this is not just me inserting and making all the content, this site is a community contribution based museum. I do not have the time to do it all myself!

I NEED HELP!

Today is the day to announce a brand new page to the museum

You can now find and search all of the Version Updates the game has had all in one convenient place. This is now an archive and backup.

@mastermesh - I am super pleased with the links you shared with me - I really appreciated them. I am sorry if my post yesterday came out the wrong way.

I will be going through those links you shared later when I find the time. But if anyone can help please reach out to me on discord.

Thanks

Rob

It is now the time to introduce 2 new amazing pages - that you all can also contribute to as well.

https://www.entropiamuseum.com/magazines/ and https://www.entropiamuseum.com/guides/

So what this means is you can now submit new or old magazines or guides directly into out archive that means they will always be available to view in one place.

To submit a PDF you must enter the direct URL to the PDF file if it is a magazine then you add it to the magazine page - if it is a PDF guide then add that to the guide page.

At the moment the guide page has zero entries but I have been adding a lot of old magazine PDF the last hour.

So please help contribute if you have any old PDF links that are still online.

Thanks

If you're interested for the gallery, here's some of my oldest screenshots. From 2007. Also the looting of an ML-35 SGA for good measure :)

Look at all those UL items in the loot!

Bro the point is for you to submit them yourself - it is not my job to submit all the images myself. The whole point in this museum is it is a community driven and community contribution based.

So please submit them yourself

Thanks
