Is possible make money un entropia universe?

Hello, I'm new in this game. Is possible make money without pay real cash?
Welcome, allways good to see new faces here.

It´s absolutly possible, I played allmost the first 2 years total without cash. Best way is grint hard sweat to get capital for trading (with some experience). Without hunting or mining and forget crafting. But sweatprice suuuuucks now. Players who start today or the last years and never payed in truly earn my biggest respect.

We all heared from PE/EU the first time in some MMORPG competitions and triggered by the real cash eco, am I right? Got from there some epic fail tips like:
"Created your Avatar and give him for example a shooter king name like CERMET THEsniper FRAG 🐸 . You can now go in lootable PVP and earn your first money by terminating other careless players." What should go wrong here... :sneaky:

But jokes byside, you can play without paying in, BUT: ATM should you have some kind of fetish for feeling pain and agony to play EU this way.
I saw sweat WTBs 1ped/k. @MA, WTF:nutkick:? We need much more uses for sweat to grow price extremly and many new players will stay ingame.

Does this include at least the electricity for the computer, possibly at the maxed graphics settings most people choose? You can make money with serious trading or running a shop, but certainly not with sweating if you factor in what it really costs you. An initial deposit for a business even if you have to earn it at minimum wage has a better conversion rate for your time.

It's impossible to make money with or without investing. Entropia is a casino. Invest your money elsewhere. In Entropia you will just blow it for a momentary rash of "maybe"...

Every journey has first steps . While you cant make a fortune sweating. getting like 100 ped worth of sweat can help you get the initial funds you need to go into trading. Ofcourse evryone who trades sets goals shop ship etc but it takes a long time!

There are "different leagues" in game... skill open new opportunities.
Definitely one game is collectring sweat and then terminate the monster (25/30 pec per kill) that is 2 eurocent per monster

it is totally different game compared to killing Moloch masters or Eomon or Daspletor that cost 3 euro per kill.

hunting at high level requires 150 to 300 euro per hour in ammo and a guaranteed LOSS of 5 to 10 euro per hour

so it is possible to make money, but myst take the money off the pockets of other players, because the "house" pays back less than you "bet"

if you are here to make money, trade. and hope that there is a bigger market than now because at the moment niches are all filled.

Should a newcomer buy a shop? I don´t know, never owned one.:scratch2: I meaned more the kind of stubbornness like "I´ll test you MA. Without cash, you said?". Was a personal archievement "What is possible" too.

For energy cost, spend time etc. maybe not.
Energy was much cheaper before my goverments switch of perfect working nuclear, coal and gas power plants for shenanigans the last years. But np for us, FR and CZ build extra new neclear plants because we must import much energy now. :duh: Bravo, an administrations masterpiece.:banghead:

You learn alot about this very complex game in the spend time before you can do some expensive newbie mistakes that are maybe easy to avoid.
Was after that time by 1400-1500 skillpoints sweat gatherer (Can you somehow calculate how much sweat this is? It was the old system with the green magic hands.), 3k on ped-card from trading, did hunting but more mining, both with crappy returns but no shraps like today.

Than I did my first and only deposit with some k USD, because I hoped that I understand the game after that time enough to do that step. Worked very well for me until now, but stopped all mining, it never payed back for me. When I could travel back in time I think I would do the most again, biggest change would be maybe a female Avatar for armour costs.

@chaman: Make little deposits in the beginning and when you enjoy EU maybe later bigger ones. That´s for most of us the normal way, It will be hard to make profit her. Is kind of good time to start btw: EU is from time to time crappy but items are really cheap to find atm. I´m maybe not the best aswerer for your question. :dunno:

You said it yourself, takes a long time. How many kWh did your computer consume while doing this? Depending mostly on your graphics card, it could consume hundreds of Watts, now multiply that with the hours, and then determine your energy cost. I doubt you will find that it cost you less than a $10 (100 ped) deposit. Since this thread is about the financial side of playing Entropia. If you're interested, there are little devices you can plug between your computer and the wall socket to measure its energy consumption.

Literally any paying job in the States will net more for equal time overall.

Running in safe mode on a potato could get you into profit, sure, but these are no longer the days of getting 10 peds/k for sweat and bottle returns are lower per hour too than back then. As advised, any job in rl will pay better and you could deposit some of that to slowly build your character skills
I don't know where any crossover lies for any playing style that involves costs, as you have to beat MA's rake with the mu from the players. Some planets have missions that allow for break-even and slow skilling up, I guess, but it's a hard slog.
My shop gets me better returns than shares these days, mostly because the share revenues have dropped quite a bit, but it's not by much that my little caravan profits. It's mostly good for saving on auction fees, so step by step, slowly slowly.

If you want to be here for over a decade, then ok, both you and this universe may still be around, but without a capital start you are unlikely to be far into any profits.

Yes, it will take years, but it is possible
Well I mean if you talking about skilling to get there there is not a real challenge compare to 10 years ago it's very easy to skill up to level 100 if you have the budget then after that you also need the brain, Excel and some luck too

Well, yes and no.

It still takes a very long time to skill up the looter profession even with codex unless you just hunt for codex, but for people like me that are careful about their bankroll, hunting for mu while skilling takes a long time.

Yea looter is still a bit long but over all so far I get a few lvl every week

Why not? Some WoW players did it too and got married RL.

But what´s me wondering: At 4:15 in your posted film a allophyl got killed onehit. What badass weapon should it be? Maybe PR crit or admin weapon? What a wierd add...

Can MA start buying sweat at min 2 ped per 1000 bottles? We can convert it to UA.
That would help QoL for free to players who eventually may turn into pay to play players in future? ;)

Perhaps impose a limit of how much sweat u can convert per day from a NPC every 24h? :)
In my opinion a better solution would be to include sweat in all blueprints even if it is a low quantity.

You shouldv tried to start 2015/2016.
Amount of opportunities there are rn cant even remotely compare to the shithole it was during last year(s) of loot 1.0 for begginers.
