Question: Issue with installing drive updates on GT220, windows vista 64-bit

Simply, i download the driver updates from NVIDIA webpage, allowing them to scan for the right driver update for my grafic card, then downloading it.

But when i start the update installation itself, and it has progressed as far as getting to "installing" with the green bar, where it does the acutal update, at about 40% it completly freezes my computer and a "Use the bottom on the computer" is only way to go. Simply i HATE killing my computer during a grafic driver update especially.

The grafic card is GT 220, on a VISTA 64 bits.
So...

Is there anyone out there having the same trouble with driver updates, with the GT serie?

Try downloading the driver to your pc first instead of installing it from the site. If it isn't possible to do so at nvidias site try other...here's one:

Im going to try that out and see if im lucky with that one.

dnot let it scan, choose the driver manually from their site and you should get the right one.
