Help: Just a noob question

What skills increase your hit lvl in mf?
have lvl35 in dmg but just 21 in dps and it seems they increase the same amount. Would like to get my lvl of hit up.

MF dmg professions involve RDA/anatomy/wounding and slightly less weight to the MF skills. If you have hunted with other ranged weapons before seriously starting MF your dmg will be a lot higher. As you skill up the relavent MF skill, hit will probably increase something like 10% faster than damage, but will take a while to catch up completely.

Ahh, thank you for the info Uniqe.
I'm around lvl 55 in the other hunting pro standings for handgun and rifle so yes, some headstart for the dmg then.
