Ohhh where to start...?

Land Areas have always been such a mystery to me..

1) How is the tax collected? Lets say you looted a weapon off a mob, if the tax is 5% would that mean you'd find the weapon with 5% less TT than otherwise? Or if you find 45 ped of lyst when the tax is 10%, would that mean it would have been 50 PED otherwise?

2) If you dragged a mob outside of a Land Area and killed it, would you still pay tax?

3) If you dragged a mob INTO a land area and killed it, would you pay tax?

4) If you dragged a mob from one land area to another.. o_O?

5)Do mobs despawn if you drag them from their LA? Or.. do mobs despawn at all?

6) Say you are right outside a land area and you find a mining claim inside a land area.. are you taxed? Or if you find a claim outside a land area from within one..

7) Are these all dumb questions that no one should not care about?:eek::(

Nobody knows :dunno:

Something like that, though it's more likely that the value is calculated, then taxed, then converted into items. No-one knows the answer to this for sure.

2) If you dragged a mob outside of a Land Area and killed it, would you still pay tax?

Yes.

3) If you dragged a mob INTO a land area and killed it, would you pay tax?

No, not if it wasn't spawned from a land area DNA.

4) If you dragged a mob from one land area to another.. o_O?

You pay tax on the mob, not the location where you kill it.

5)Do mobs despawn if you drag them from their LA? Or.. do mobs despawn at all?

What do you mean by despawn, just disappear? If so, no. They stay until they die.

6) Say you are right outside a land area and you find a mining claim inside a land area.. are you taxed? Or if you find a claim outside a land area from within one..

Yes, and no.

7) Are these all dumb questions that no one should not care about?:eek::(

Not at all.

My answers to questions 2-4 are up for debate, but previous discussions on this subject have pointed towards those answers being correct.
