Ah, dear reader, allow me to regale you with a tale of woe set within the digital realm of Entropia Universe. In this woeful narrative, we encounter a hapless hunter named Meloveyou Longtime Fivedolla, whose endeavors in hunting, mining, and striving for self-sufficiency are met with naught but adversity. Alas, the system within which our avatar resides seems most unkind.

Meloveyou Longtime Fivedolla valiantly dons the Electric Attack Nanochip 15, a weapon perfected for the art of hunting. However, even with this formidable tool at his disposal, our beleaguered protagonist finds himself in a constant state of borrowing gear, unable to achieve the self-sufficiency he so ardently desires. The fates, it seems, conspire against poor Meloveyou at every turn.

As the narrator of this lamentable tale, I must inform you, dear reader, that Meloveyou Longtime Fivedolla's path in Entropia Universe is one fraught with misfortune. With each new attempt to forge a prosperous existence, he encounters only hardship and disappointment. Alas, the world within the game remains resolute in its refusal to show him kindness.

Whether Meloveyou shall find respite from his relentless trials or continue to be ensnared in the web of ill fortune is a question that remains unanswered. But, as with all stories of unfortunate events, we can only hope that a glimmer of light shall one day pierce the gloom and grant our woebegone hunter a sliver of success.

Curious to see what happens when you start getting that looter level to 60, then 70, etc. Hope you keep this log up.

I found IMK2 to be boring and limiting in the new world of 2.0+. While it is comforting, I spent 2.5 months to earn approx. 6,000ped after MU. I felt I could do better AND get money back in my bankroll by selling what I had. It all boiled down to entertainment/profit per time spent.

Boring? Like to low DPS?
I would say 6000 ped profit in 2.5 months is quite good but it is all relevant to the time put in. I hope the new setup will suit you better :)

Too low DPS. It is 54dps unamped.

When you hunt for approximately 12-18 hours a day, you can do better than 6000ped MU (mainly from mayhems) for having 55000ped invested for the time spent. At least that is my take. Regardless, I figured I would need to up my game if I want to increase my gains per hour. Additionally, as I am about to release my tracker utility on entropialoot, it would be better to showcase it while contrasting what a difference in 7% eff looks like since I have tons of data on my imk2 grind. It allows me to build out the graphs in a more meaningful manner.
 
Eventually. It's hard for me to come up with something entertaining when Entropia is boring for getting viewers. :/

Summary

This was a month of upgrades, testing of equipment, and venturing away from the safety net of the IMK2. There was a lot to learn as I develop the analytics tool inside Entropialoot and try to come up with a means to develop my game play. I downsized my Calypso shop presence and focused on my Arkadia shop, changed out my hunting gear, skilled up Electrokinesis, and am planning my next weapon change - TBD. The month was far more volatile, although it was quite volatile with the IMK2; hence the big hits. My +/- would have been a bit different if I stayed away from Old Fred for 2 days. But I took a gamble and it was not rewarded but that is OK. 98% is my identified break even point, thus I was treading water this month. The first half of the month was very bad and that was with the IMK2.

Very informative, thanks and congrats on the unlocks. Is that bristlehog cave part of a mission? I'm intrigued at the possibility of farming both thin wool and short stinktree boards at the same time :unsure:
