Hey everyone,
Some of you might remember me. I just came back to EU after a 3-year hunting break. Apparently all it took was buying an expensive new gun to drag me back in. My PED card is already crying
In my first week back I've already been approached by two streamers about partnering up, so rather than picking someone on the spot, I want to do this right.
What I'm Looking For
One Twitch streamer. Long-term partnership, not a one-off. The ideal partner has a strong, active EU following with a lot of newer viewers discovering the game. You stream consistently, not for a month then vanish. You're genuinely engaged with your audience, you explain what you're doing and why, and you're patient with people learning the ropes.
Many of you remember CrowbarWrench and his Crowbar Crew. Kind, helpful, a true ambassador for the game and new players. That's exactly the type of partner I'm looking for. I partnered with him for almost a year and he was the perfect streamer, I couldn't have asked for a better partner.
What I'll need from applicants:
-Your Twitch channel name and a screenshot of your channel analytics (average viewers, unique viewers, stream frequency)
-A brief description of your community and streams
Why you'd be a good fit
-What event ideas would you like to see and how do we create a home for new players
Let's create a home for new players!! The purpose is simple, grow the new player base and give them a reason to stay. I want new players discovering EU on Twitch to find a channel where they can learn, make friends, and actually participate, not just watch someone grind.
All primary events will be on my OLA #30 Bibo n' Berys. Lower HP mobs, perfect for newer players to hunt without getting wrecked. I realize the spawns are stalkers but people can hunt them in their 1st month they are not that difficult!
We're building a sweat buying initiative into this. New players need somewhere to sell their sweat. That's a big part of this initiative.
I can also see us doing a team Opalo (or similar) hunt on OLA #02 Atrox Paradise, maybe monthly, one hour, everyone groups up on Atrox together. Back when I started in 2011 I used to round up hunters for team hunts on Atrox, so this would be super nostalgic for me
. I might jump in and throw prizes around to spice it up, schedule permitting. But the main focus stays on Bibo n' Bery and the new player experience.
What This Is NOT
Let me be real. This is not a get-rich opportunity. If you're looking to make a ton of PED off this, don't apply. I'm hoping to maybe break even on the events, but I'm prepared to and will very likely lose PED for a good cause.
There will be some stream partner compensation, I don't expect you to work for free. And of course, will I hop on your Twitch to hype things up and throw bits around occasionally? Sure. But the motivation needs to be community, not your PED card.
A Note to MindArk
I'd love prize sponsorship support for new-player events. Growing the player base benefits everyone. But if not, no hard feelings, I'll fund prizes from land taxes and my own pocket. I've done it before.
My GoldGrinder event is already live across all four land areas and runs continuously. Highest PED-per-global payout of any event in Entropia. Anyone hunting my lands is already stacking rewards through GoldGrinder, so whatever we build on top, hunters benefit just by showing up.
How This Will Work
The event format is still open. I want to collaborate with my partner to build something great together. I have ideas, you'll have ideas, we'll figure it out as a team.
