Hi i am just gathering some info on all armour plateing the old numbered plates (1a - 8a), the new sand king, RT dragon plates, the Ark pulser plates and any others that i might have missed. With more choices of armour plating out there i am just intrested in what players belive is the best, most popular, the worst, the most cost effective etc etc.

Its not just from a hunters point of view but also from the crafters point of view, what plating is best to craft, easiest to sell, materials easy to obtain or not. Well i think you get my drift.

Thank you for giving up your time to answer in advance.

There is a great chart in this thread: https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/forums/showthread.php?94648-Armor-Plating-Stats

That gives lots of info from 1A-8A. There have been a lot of plates added to the lineup since this chart was originally posted. I'll see if I can find more info on it in a nice format like that. I even have that chart printed out for myself.

Otherwise, you can see all info on this page of entropedia: http://www.entropiawiki.com/Chart.aspx?chart=Plating

Not the easiest to read like the first chart, but more complete.

I agree with the above post, 5B and 6A are the most popular, but the Pulsar 8s will take a chunk of the 5B market away as it does better protection, but unfortunately it is a L plate.

EDIT: I actually went ahead and created new stat sheets for armor plates. Link in my sig.

I have been working on a side project for Entropia related info and utilities here :

http://www.lundsys.com/Html/Entropia.php

On the database tab there is a drop-down for most anything, and a nice searchable table as a result.

Armor plates have their own table. And will have a special extended section, since I make many of em.

Incoming shameless plug.....

If you would like to see what plates I can make for you....

on the right pane ( search/view) select the view tab, give it a sec, and search armor plate or mark. or anything you want, it updates the table live as you type.

This is a major work in progress, so it changes regularly, but I have a lot of things planned and much working behind the scenes still.

Hope it helps..
