Does anyone know when loot 2.0 is going to be implemented for mining ? The really obvious missing claim is starting to annoy me..

If you're not over 80 in your mining profs you might as well give up if you're not ok to lose peds whilst mining. Alternatively, you can ride the loot waves, thats if you can tell when they are on. Moreover, you can also quit if you don't like losing money, this game is a gamble get used to it.

Everyone bickers, but no one wants to help each other out ?

I just did, by giving you my honest experience with mining. It is shit, and has been for years. I lost so much in so little time that I have given up on it as a gamble and turned to hunting completely, before that I was a full time miner, no more thanks. At least with hunting I can enjoy my peds a little while longer until is sucks it all out eventually. I am now 330 hp and 500k skills and happy to gamble on just hunting. Hope this helps you even futher.

I can understand that... I just don't have the reflexes for it. I need time to think and plan my next move, hence I became a miner.

That's chess. For mining just carpet bomb high markup area.Even a basic mentor can explain you the process.

I'm not even half way lvl 80 and make easy around 30 ped/day, unamped ofc ... without riding non-existent waves or anything else with any maxed finder, even the F-101
Skills do not mean a thing in return, only in maxing finders and any finder will give about the same % in return.

This is 100% correct and has been confirmed by the non schizo miners

I am around Level 60 and have seen periods of 100k+ cycles where TT returns are as high as 125% and similar periods where TT returns were as low as 85%. The low periods definitely suck, but long-term returns tend to hover between 95-98%.

Like Leeloo said above, mining level does not matter. Mining the right areas consistently and without gambling needlessly are the keys to success.

Unfortunately, it is very boring when done right.

And of course locating the periods of sucky-ness and scaling down on mining during those times, and of course scaling up when it's less sucky.

It's almost like the game goes through a wave or distribution cycle for each avatar participating, which means that this little mmo could discourage it's player base to actively participate by throwing bad loot...

This is a very thin line to walk...

I am not a primary miner professional however I do dabble in the profession from time to time. I suggest looking at the auction and understand what materials being sold and at what amount; one.
Two mine enough to understand what areas loot what materials.
Three, put both one and two together and try to figure what materials are low in distribution and where to find that material and mine it.
I do not have data or enough time invested to say for a fact but if I was to move to mining this would be my thought process..

Figure out what you are after. (MU)!

Right finder with proper depth range.

Check LBML maps for best server and %.

Map out that server and make notes of spots or time of day.

Go to those spots.

Drop, wait and repeat.

If its good keep at it if bad stop. 🤷‍♂️

Sell, repeat. 🙌

Expect 90% TT return and you wont be dissapointed.

PS: I am hunter but have done some mining in the past and present day. No need to make it more complicated.
