Suggestion: Loot 3.0 ideas

'My peds run out too fast'

Then lower the amount you are cycling per click. This will help out when the loot swings downward.
It's like placing a $10 bet and complaining when it loses that you didn't get back 95%.
Place that £10 bet 100,000 times then you'll see a 95% return. (ish) .

If your bank roll is too small for the variance of loot, then hunt smaller or mine smaller. it's all a risk you took it and it didnt work out.

yeah, mixing small stuff into big stuff seems the stabilize the returns on a higher level.
A ratio of 10:1 to 5:1 seems to be somewhat okay to get 93+% TT-return almost every day.

Thanks indeed, and yes we already know this and much more, but we subscribed for a fun game not for a boring casino. It should be a "fair and fun" game.

And if one quit the game then the return will be 100% ! You put it in the bank etc. the return can be 101% to 108% ! You work rather than playing and you are paid! Also CLDs in the game do it (giving you profit in PEDs).

But where is the fair and fun game with transparency and ... ?

If it was impossible to do I would not insist.

"You mean you are worth five to ten times of what you paid in"

This is rare and interesting, can you share the story of luck/trade/etc. behind it? Or is it that you have paid in low amount or have been sweating?

in the very beginning some fruit walking...
too lazy for sweating.
now just mining/crafting and some hunting every now and then.
And sorry, not giving away my secrets to profit.
Anyhow, as it goes for rather stable high TT-return, try the 10 small stuff : 1 big stuff ratio.. like 250 puny mobs/crafts/drops, then 25 big mobs/crafts/drops or 500/50, this may help.

The old system was much worse than the new system...

The old system was better for gamblers :)

Loot is ok how it is.

@Arm
I agreed and believed what you said is real.
Because I been through myself and take years (somehow) manage to survive via doing other stuffs.
Good in-game friends do help a lots too especially on team hunting.

I will just say this in short.
Before you like this RCE thingy, make sure you know this is an expensive game to play and it doesn't like you to play everyday.

People think simple things regarding the statistics and risk of ruin and chances are overlooked. No. The lack of transparency at the beginning and the "victim" business model and the aages it takes in the present system to make up return is something bad which many players emphasize should be changed.

The statistics say you have a 50% return while even with those equipments it should be 75% to 90% depending on what has been done. The system takes ages to make up for some of that and the rest it gives to few players as ATH to advertise big wins.

Understand that a boring and time consuming and victim-based business model is not fair and also not the best MA can come up with. This is not about obvious things some players mention (and thank you for trying to provide the info.).

This is about transforming a business model to a more fair and more fun one, attracting much more players.

And:

"The advertised average return stats of 95% and 98% are also misleading and can cause MA legal problems. That can be solved by:

1. better explanation of loot system and cycles and chances "from the beginning",
2. and a Loot 3.0 enhancement after 5 to 10 percent loss of deposit (depending on weapon choice etc.),
3. the big HOF/ATH making up huge loss not taking ages for high-payers,
4. and dashboards for return for those who have paid over 1k USD. "

And:

" Idea: MA can also consider giving excellent non-tradable items to high payers (gun, airplane, ...) as loot, to make up for part of the problem and help them accumulate some sort of Entropia Wealth in their VR World."

And then gradually give them back the over-charged unfair peds they have lost from the deposit (anything above 10% loss?).

Seriously, why are you still playing this game? I would like to know.
The more of this nonsense you post the clearer it is you have no idea how the game works.

What is clear: You don't read or understand what has been written by me.

To show that: tell me EXACTLY what is it that I don't understand and I show you signs that I understand in my previous comments, proving you don't read well or you are not impartial ! If you do not do it we know who is right in this regards.

Guess: Are you working for MA? If so, then do it better by reading well and using the advices. There's no reason ordinary players ignore sound comments, good suggestions and in the other hand attack other players!

All folks, you can get who is impartial and normal by reading comments.

I play because: VR world is interesting and I am trying - to some extent in my free time - to help make it much more interesting (and fair in case of MA).

Chances: and yes, there's a chance I stop playing or go to court against MA. I prefer to help with making it a better VR world for all of us, though.

Fact: because of MA mal-information, I did not know some things about the way game worked at the beginning, and I know and can calculate the consequences. We don't say that a computer program written by MA behaves in other way that it is written, what we say is: it is not fair, and it can be made much more fair and fun. Business model transformation and some innovations CAN make it happen. The VR world potential is much more than many people think.

Once I put ~100 Euros into Forex and made it ~500 in few days, I was continuously calculating and analyzing for trades, I know that if you continue such high leverage trade, you eventually lose it fast, and there are many calculations and technicals surrounding Forex, anyway if somebody likes science and calculations and transparency and control over their risk and investments and fast/slow chances of loss/super-loss/gain/super-massive-gain (much more than ATH in case of Entropia), they could do Forex (and would probably lose money). The statistics and tools and etc. are there.

Even with the transparency of Forex, there are lawyers offering to chase such companies (for client loss) and do paid advertisements on Google.

The national and European/US legislation does not allow enforcing anything you like to write in an agreements (even if accepted), there are frameworks of fairness governing all the contracts and etc. such as the Contract Act in UK (just an example, not that it applies to every case).

More important than that is the perception of clients and their power to attract other clients (here: players).

We are here for a fair and fun VR game, not gambling or Forex like trades or ... . If we wanted those, the real ones are there with much more transparency and leverages from 2 to 888 !

You buy a very nice game for well under 100 usd. Given the MA servers, maintenance and development staff, and some fair rewards (HOF), should it cost a person who has paid in 10k Euros in few years, more than 1k Euros? And half that for economy players?

There are many victims under the present model.

(And also, under the present bad business model, should it necessarily take aaages to give back part of the massive taken money to make the statistics ordinary-under-the-present-model?)

I think we'd better focus on ideas which can make the game better...

1. A new stream of cash flow from the real world is also a way of helping MA have more fund to make it a fair game, the real items part of the auctions can be turned into something which works ... (it is empty now)

2. The chance of working in VR (FOR THE REAL WORLD) to earn peds, and giving MA a percentage is another idea ... . I assume this shall help people from less developed countries as well. Some ideas can be brought from freelancing sites.

It can take time to resolve the challenges surrounding such ideas and make these fit for Entropia, but IT IS POSSIBLE.

3. Another idea is to pledge 90% return on deposits for every player in 15 years, giving MA time to make it fair, and also running an affiliate program in which players who attract new players can earn (with such a guaranty, I would not hesitate recommending the game to many people and to wait for the money even for 15 years in a game which listens to its clients and has much VR potentials).

If I had the spare money I would buy MA and would try to implement improvements myself as a weekend CEO / Head of Board (yes, for me, it is fun too).

At the time loot 2.0 was presented, 2 and a half years ago, MA positioned it as a more equitable loot system. 98% of the players will see improvements in loot, MA said at the time.

It was implied that owners of mod mercs and imk2's will no longer experience tt profits, and that those profits will be distributed to the player base.

Fast forward 2 and a half years, I can say with certainty that the owners of mod mercs and imk2's are no longer able to profit at tt.

Also certain is that the remainder of the player base (aka "the 98%") are also seeing declines in tt returns compared to loot 1.0.

So by extension loot 3.0 will be an occasion for MA to dip their elbows deeper into the players' money, while presenting it as an excellent OooOoooOOOOoooOOoo

You think i work for Mindark? Now that is an insult. :D

If MA thinks well, they will be at our side and we all benefit and attract more players FAIRLY. Needs MA to be brave and creative regarding their business model transformation and work hard to solve the challenges. Let's hope for an excellent Loot 3.0 and help MA with ideas and suggestions (when I say loot 3.0, and business model transformation, Mining and Crafting Returns 3.0 are parallelly included as well).

That then would probably be the end of hopes for a good fair game for many of us, the time my lawyer would dip their elbows in my pocket and MA pocket at the same time, and would give me a legal top ATH profit at the end of this legal loot. Then the flow begins and MA eventually becomes fair, or becomes insolvent and sold and then becomes fair! ;)

(or so I guess, counting on overarching legislation in Europe which governs all contracts and agreements)

Who will join that team for the FINAL LOOT: MindArk Boss L143525? ;):LOL:

Shall we give MA one or two years?

obviously, why else would there be days or hours where the game even sucks away hundreds of ped on small stuff...
i don't get why MA still hasn't removed those 66-75% TT-return periods...

It's so you can expierience getting a global/hof. If you have constant +90% return say byebye to globals ;)

i can experience those too if those 66-75% TT-return periods get changed back to 85-90% periods ;)
And on top of that, the game will be less frustrating

Anyway, you try to justify holding onto something bad with something that simply isn't true... gj...

Sure, but then they will be alot less frequent and alot smaller.
Then you'll be happy and another player will start complaining about how he is getting less globals.
Whatever MA will do some will be happy and some will be mad.
And yes, i made loot 2.0 work for me so i'm good with it. Have you actually tryed?

i don't think they can be that much smaller as those 50-60 PED globals they already are...

Then you'll be happy and another player will start complaining about how he is getting less globals.

but they won't quit over that, people with lots of 66-75% TT-return periods will.
Also, if they can't global on punies anymore, they can still switch to bigger stuff and get lots of globals there...
It's so silly to ask for TT-return nerf for everyone, just because a few people are too lazy/stupid/stubborn to just go for something bigger...

Whatever MA will do some will be happy and some will be mad.

then let those be mad who have less globals rather than those who will quit because of low tt-return..

And yes, i made loot 2.0 work for me so i'm good with it. Have you actually tryed?

i tried everything, nothing works reliably.
if i get tired of too many low tt-return runs i'll make it work by going back to BDO and take another break of a year or two from EU.... Just like most people who get too frustrated by the low tt-return crap.

I can agree with all of that except maybe this.

I don't understand what you mean with that. Have i said somewere that i want to nerf everyones tt-return?

when you say it should be 66-75% instead of 85-90% on the lower end so we can have more globals, then you did...

Btw, we have those as low as 66-75% runs now people argued just like you before loot 2.0 and MA sadly listened to them... and now everyone stuck with such shitty low return runs...

As a nobody mid tier player who maybe spends less than what most ubers spend in one hunt, loot 2.0 does not equate to a more fair or balanced system. No it equates to a hopeless practice of insanity trying to find something or even anything of value to keep the game going. Sure tt is fine... if you like watching a fire burn a house down slowly. But it’s about as fun as being a former miner was before the mu market tank: flushed down a toilet because I just can’t get that 777 to break into profitability.

Shit i haven’t hit one hof above 500 ped in over 50 levels of hunting over a period of 8 years. What am I? The chopped liver of hunting?

No don't twist my words. I said

I never said it returns should be 66-75%. What i meant with that comment is that you need to loose some peds to get a global/hof. Constant high returns will be the end of that.

And i'm only sure about my returns so when other people say i get only x% and never more then that i find that very hard to believe, especially when they post numbers with nothing to back them up.

So as to put my money were my mouth is. (hope thats the right way to say it)
