For the last couple of weeks I've been playing around with the mask making system in game.

It's slow, but fun. :)


Here are my first few attempts...

First: A Mask based on a nebula in space.






Second: A monster mask (kind of a late Halloween thing I guess)






Third: The 'Snake Mask' (still my favourite so far).






Fourth and Last: A Purple Tiger.

 
Awesome work! too bad the system is that slow, and bad, but you did a nice job.

It's a shame that the mask system is so slow (it takes forever to build up some of the colours so that you can actually see them), but it does make for a nice little diversion in game.

I'm already thinking about what mask to make next. :)

I like the idea of the nebula mask :cool:

the "smile" brought me the idea .. why not make an "Avatar" mask .. that would be cool :)

Ohh...an "Avatar" mask would be cool. I'll have to try that at some point. :)

PS: Why does it always seem impossible to find the make up colours that you need when you need them? lol (Currently on the look out for Black Facepaint)

About no much MU and or players how buy it. So most ppl just TT it.

Anyone tried to use Wacom pen drive or something like that to draw in game?
is it working?

and this .. it is so hard to draw with the makeup system, how in hell do you do that!!! you must have patience of a saint!!!

It does take time, but I enjoy it. Sometimes (particularly with a detailed mask) I've found that it's better to work in short sessions and keep coming back to it, other times I get into the 'drawing zone' and don't realise that an hour or more has passed me by because I'm so focused on it. lol. The real pain here is that the make up system only allows you to work on one mask at a time. :( I really wish that there was a way of backing up multiple masks.

Agree, saving more mask would be nice.
But most i dont like the really slow painting. The tools are a pain to paint. it was much better in old days.
Also i dont like, that we lost the symmetric painting. It should have an option, so you can toggle between asymetric and symetric painting. it also should have an opacity/trancluent slider, so you can use it for full paint or even with opacity.

I now have 2 times longer to paint a mask, as it was in old days.
