This was a great question and made me think... the answer is complicated. It's a matter of perspective, it's a matter of convenience and lazyness. 2 players don't like the same setup for various reasons.
I don't need it, but it's nice to have.
I put this to a test yesterday and here's a short clip (full hour of pixie vs Zychion available by request):
Mod nano T10 (with Mayhem Trauma 5 & Mayhem M-Matrix attachments)
Adjusted Pixie Tier 1, 5B Augmented plates
Electrotherapy from Tezlapod pet
Limited heals - Eir Mk3 (L) & Restoration chip 20 (L)
Summer 2020 & Christmas 2020 rings


And yeah, good point, how the game evolved... would like to give a shoutout to these legends here that inspired us and who previously smashed Mulci like bosses:

I had LP100 T10 and used that in the two Mayhems (hallo and MM), in between and after I skilled with swords and started using mine at L142, which was already T6 and I was able to throw in some skill mod enhancers.
 
That 1.9k crit hit says something. Incredible it came to this.
 
Massive gratz! I guess it was a bit of a race for the first t10?
 
It is for sure impressive, too much swapping tools... i am a F player... that is as intense as a WOW raid tanking....
now rise evader to 290 and GG :)

So what is your next project? Now that it is T10, what mobs ass is going to feel sorry?
