News: Merry Mayhem 2025

Completed Bronze this morning.
For the casual player i am, i found this Mayhem WAY faster than the previous times i took the time to complete it.

Points were literally flying... 250... 500... 1000... 2500...

I also liked the fact that even 5 small points were displayed whenever we were winning the multiplicator, because i am the kind of old man to fall asleep on my keyboard after 2-3 hours of "boring" shooting the same mobs 😅 And generally the only thing waking me up is a global or a Hof... Well now i had all of these little points messages, and i liked it 👍

Apart from one botter at Minopolis i really enjoyed this event 😎. Not that i don't like botters... I only don't like when a guy with 3 times my DPS comes to literally erase all of the pool of small mobs i am hunting, even the ones i started to shoot, when he could had easily erased the daikibas 4 categories above the small ones i was hunting and which were 50 meters away... (bring back the instances MA... i had nothing against them...)

Would it kill them to put in some coordinate here's? Like seriously?? Not for the TPs but the actual spawns. They do it for the snargs, why not the rest?

I'm thinking maybe I'll check out these mobs at Icarus.... No idea where this shit is supposed to be, can't use a vehicle there gotta run around for 20 minutes like a jackass. Asking around, no one fucking knows. Figure maybe the AI NPC can help, no they're fucking useless too. Like WTF? Common guys...

No fly zone is only inside the camp itself, which is like 10 seconds run to a place you can summ a vehicle.

EU is supposed to be a game of exploration and discovery :wise: :o:
 
Ashi tp fly a little ways NE and there is 06 size mobs.
 
Anyone else notice the droprate of xmas boxes have decreased today? was getting like 4 or 5 per hour the first 4 days and now getting 1 an hour. So it is like it was for halloween mayhem :(

Pretty sure thats just some variance for you, i just looted 30 in 2 hours.

Maybe but it was very consistent the first 4 days grinded like 13 hours those 4 days and today about 8 so far. And I only looted like 12 today.

I am also on stage 4 now too in gold. 32% done in stage 4 as well. 2.4K ped loss as well the last 5 days.

You can't draw conclusions on anything at all off such small samples in this game. People do it all the time on TT returns for example, even down to trying to spot trends by the hour. You can't. Not with this built-in variance.

My turnover per box for each day so far in Mayhem, same maturity all days;
Dec 11th: 84.87 ped per box
Dec 12th: 114.30 ped per box
Dec 13th: 89.12 ped per box
Dec 14th: 113.74 ped per box

Perhaps, but atleast in my case you would have done the only thing you can do. Creating support case for any reason seem to be some immeasureable obstacle to this community. Sadly same does not apply to whining. Accountability for own choises coming in second.
 
So, my friend was looted in space and had no way to defend himself! He was loaded onto a vehicle on the planet Cálypso and quickly jumped into space, then taken to PVP and looted. Since it's impossible to get out of the vehicle in space, how can you defend yourself? It's not a small amount of money - I'm really upset! I demand immediate changes!

Firstly it totally stinks that this still happens in this game. Just shows there is still some really nasty people in this game.

Secondly only ship owners can summon and remove someone from the guestlist in space which would instantly evict them from the ship.

So that means there is a ship owner that is doing this and they must be banned for it.

The only advice I can give is never ever accept a random friend request from anyone without knowing. Also your friend should have been able to get his name right? if so tell him to report the ship and ship owners name to MA in a support ticket. Hopefully they can get some compensation and the ship owner can be punished!

Lastly how on earth can people even accidentally click accept when you get the summon window? I have never done it once so I am really not sure how others can do it.

I am so sorry for your friend though.

Maybe name and shame the ship owner who did it so that others will not fall victim to it as well (that is if you know who it is?)

And to finish, how can MA even fix this or stop this from happening? I do not think they can. I see this as a bad unfixable exploit!

It's people in quad wings and sleipnirs. Not mothership/privateer owners. It's been the same people for over 2 years now and Mindark has done nothing even with hours upon hours of proof sent to them in support tickets.
 
Finished my MM daily 2 days ago.. been killing MM mobs and cant get a daily for them. Is there someone to talk with in game to get it now or

Edit - about kidnapping to space a few posts up:
It usually takes longer to get to lootable these days, except when MA screws up with something like at Ark was last time I believe, but maybe HM too? I believe the target is primarily bots who don't 'realise' they have 'f'-ed themselves to becoming a passenger, then are whisked off at leisure, so it is relevant to open world Mayhemming.
Logging off and on again is not something I consider an appropriate 'saving the situation' for an immersive game, though, but is all I know as a solution (when a quad or a sleip takes someone and has quickly pressed launch to space). I'm guessing you have to log on again fast, by the way, as I assume logging back on later could well put you at the place the pirate kidnappers are currently with their vehicles, which they want to be lootable already. But I'm not sure...

Removing shared loot tags won't help. People bot open world everywhere. I saw it on solo LT stalkers during migration.

Since MA have sent a clear message for years that botting is completely fine, I don't see them banning anyone even temporarily.

It used to be and that was rewarded. Now it's just an excuse for them to half ass content. They rely on you having to find the content to be half of the content itself.

So true. I was hunting neomex at the end of summer 2024 around sleeping Oaki for a couple hours
 
Personally I think mayhem should be instanced, there is no competition anymore.. But its rather annoying to have the same clowns repeatedly afk in public spawns shooting your mobs or laying dead nearby.

Just turn on pvp everywhere and let us deal with it ourselves if you are not going to MA.
 
Honestly the loot lag that has happened all through this mayhem has been so frustrating and it happened like 2 or 3 times a day.

Just now had it again had 3 mobs sitting waiting to loot and then for some reason 2 of them vanished and did not give me any loot then 20 seconds after those other 2 vanished the 3rd did give me loot.

The other times it happened I always got the loot within 1 or 2 mins, but this time it took over 5minutes. This time was the first time I never got loot as well, I am totally digusted.

I am not sure if I should do a ticket or not but I am soo annoyed right now because of it I rage quit. Loot has been a disgrace for me and I am down 4.4Kped since the start of this mayhem.

I am sick to death of this game and the bugs and when it leads to you losing out on loot it is not fair and MA should compensate for it!

Finished my quest a few days ago, just picked silver, had no idea if i will log in next time at tomorrow or 2026 summer.
So, 34k point last year, assuming my average 1.3 ped per point, it should be around 44.2k ped cycle.
Finished silver and a bit more to finish the actual daily stage too, total cycle was 42.4k ped.

So yes, points flying like crazy, points per stage increased accordingly, still about the same cycle as previsious years.
 
Gold completed - total loss this mayhem is 5K peds ish. Cycled about 150K peds in 17 days.

I am now gonna do some FFA for stars to sell.
