Motherships and avatars loging out

There is no point in debating this, I just cant see why its such a big deal to determine if logging out is a bug or otherwise. Because space is still largely under development MA has allowed people to log out in them until they can better implement the vision they have. Some point in the future this will change, why? its simple they have SI, ways to improve that SI, and outstanding offensive abilities. The reason for that is they are going to have to be defended at some point in the future. with the way they are now there is no reason to attack and in turn defend one.

Its coming just wait.

Well, i 100 % agree with you that it is not fair game play logging out in privateer with loot, but i do not know Ma can fix this issuse.

It is verry easy to notice a bug or exploit , but find a way how to fix it is verry big problem.
it is no way not letting to log off people in privateers, cordinates of avatar is privateer not space, so they loging in in privateer cordinates. If you will try to fix something, we will get something like : one crashed in space - all privateer need to get him back in space station.

I quited searching for people in space, because Ma made it so LARGE, and privateers/ motherships without loot (50 ped need to destroy it). pirating in space it is just pedwaste now , and fixing privateers bugs will not make it better. It is just TOO LARGE!


P.S. i think if tehere where a specialist knowing how to fix that bug, it will be fixed till now. So offers needed i think.

Maybe the reason for this is that the majority of people who enters space isn't in space for pvp...

(Just to clarify: So far I haven't logged out during a flight with my own ship to bail out from pvp - I just want to move from point A to point B as fast as possible and logging out just makes the trip take longer time; and my logging out from mothership has been that I don't want to spend hours maybe days online waiting for mothership to arrive back at Calypso. And no, I do have experienced a blowed up mothership a few times. Maybe I should do as Stagger suggest and log out whenever I see some other ship in view...)

Back on topic. There's an argument for not letting travellers log off, however, I pretty much live in space and log on and off all the time. I'm always in the same location on the ship, but the ship is often in a different location.

What's needed is a one-size-fits-all solution to encompass travellers and crew. If you can come up with one that gets implemented I'll give you as much rep as possible.

so i guess you are just saying that we are supposed to kill 100000 structural integrity, usually camped by a quad of 8 repairers with a rk-20
within.. 10-20 seconds?

i have done the calculations.. and that would require approx 200 pirates in a quadwing at location shooting down the mothership.
every pirate shooting about 50-100 ped in ammo.

really.. find a better argument before you call us the noobs.

(ofcourse i wouldn't have expected anything diffrent from a player owning his own mothership and still wants to make extra profit without any trouble of the pirate having fun)

Buy a mothership or 2, crew em, upgrade the SI to max and i think ya could do it.... maybe with a few quads also.

The logging is all part of the value MA has given the big ships.... Of course if someone pays enough, maybe ma will let those logged off be looted... They still have not implemented those mothership torpedos... When they rolled out the motherships, they gave a price to them of at least 1k ped each(probably more, I just forget the figure)... Perhaps a so inclined MS with a torpedo will be able to loot those logged off players?
