Large hordes of Feffoid mutants and Feffox are gathering around Calypso, causing havoc and distress in several normally peaceful regions.



These large groups of Feffoid and Feffox have been sighted at Camp Caravan, Cape Corinth, Fort Fury, Fort Ithaca, Fort Zeus, and Jason Centre.



Colonists should be on alert when traveling near these areas, as these hordes can be extremely aggressive towards humans.



We wish happy hunting to those colonists that dare to help to repel these threats!

Why not Maffoid too?
 
Any special loot making them worth hunting? Or just timefiller?
 
I knew this event was coming and I'm still disappointed. By far the most disappointing event. These 2 mobs are already hunted more than most mobs.

What about some mobs that don't already get some love?
 
At least make it interesting not copy and paste event as usual. Why not mutant boxes looted exclusively from mutant feffoids/feffox? That can drop mutated pills, <insertothermutatedstuffhere>.
 
Oh hell yeah another useless event that is not interesting nor entertaining, for mobs that are widely available outside of this "event"

Its pretty simple though, MA thinks of Entropia kind of like a macro.... ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff it
 
Why not do something like MUTATED Trilomite, Plumategrus, Itumatrox etc :)
Or shared Kingfisher? :)

Would be cool if they had killed some random scientists and you could loot random gear from the scientists, nothing too op, maybe like a lab coat that gave 50% increase chance on scanning skills, maybe some L scanners, faps, harddrive fragments from their destroyed laptops common/rare/mythic that you turn in x amount to a vendor for some random prize, universal ammo, skill pill, L equipment w/e again doesn't have to be op, tameable feffox hatching chance to spawn. Lots of little things you can add to make your off season hey we spawned x mob here for <reasons> go hunt it just feel a bit more exciting without adding game breaking gear.
 
They didn't need to go crazy, but how about a little reward? People do a stupid amount of grinding for something as trivial as a daily token, so why not have a repeatable daily mission for a few tokens and some blazars for killing the event spawned mobs?
This isn't an event as it is, its just more Feffoids.
 
If you are going to do an event with no effort put into it at all, at least make it a rare/special mob. The mulmun event a few years ago was pretty fun.
 
When do we get Big Bulks?

The mulmun event is every year a few times.

"Atrox Queen and The Egg (Jun. - Jul. 2006)
Atrox activity increases around Fort Ithica including attacks by Atrox Mauraders. EBN later reports seeing an Atrox Queen lay a giant egg near the Rogue Plains. Colonist search Calypso for the Queen and her Egg and finally catch up with her at the Crater north of Echidna. The Atrox Queen is slain by a team of Desert Rangers, but no Egg is found.

It is soon discovered that Feffoids have apparently found the Egg before the Colonists. There is an all out assault on Feffoids gathering around Fort Fury and the camps to the north. The Egg is eventually recovered by Tzest0s, but instead of destroying it, as recommended by the Zoological Institute, he sells it to NEVERDIE. The Egg is now on display at Club NEVERDIE and has exhibited no activity for over a year."

No just an egg.

MA knows that we love events, where we can loot something "unusual"... it doesnt even have to be UL. Just something we can use or sell for a little bit more MU than usual.

What I don't understand is why it's the same mob like this every year, useless feffox and feffoid...

Why not spice it up a bit? Make something new, new mutated mobs... try something different - that would surely get people to pew pew a lot more!

Go for it MA, take some chances...
