Another good run, gratz!

I was meaning to ask, have they done something with dianthus on Arkadia? I haven't been able to find any for a while now whilst before that I could almost always get a couple claims.

Dianthus is a slippery one. its perhaps more waved than pyrite in Ark pvp. Ive theorized that if you hit more than 2-3 claims of erdo, you should expect at least 1-2 claims of dianthus. ive never hit dianthus without hitting erdo. i never do sole ore or enmat drops on any planet. Ark mining requires patience, since Arkadia is at times a timid beast😉.

Im not surprised at the returns...... overall 600 ped pyrite on a 4460 Argus run. i guess had i amped , id have prob gotten much more out of it. I learned a few things about Argus this time. No wonder people wait 30 mins afk and then start mining again....I didn't wanna lose all my ped so i stopped after a while. Weekends not a good time to go pyrite hunting :ROFLMAO: . Might head to Ark back now, try get some putty.

I think that the issue is the lack of MU overall for mining.

If the risk is greater than the reward, then no one will mine, if there are no miners, there are less resources available to find. The cycle will break one day when enough miners say enough is enough..
 
@ rattex: if i correctly understood he is manufacturing skills and over the skill can extract 3% average MU over cost in his activity (i might be wrong)
that means if he just drop 100k per month (i can assure i got some mates that drop more) it is 1.200.000 per year with a 36.000 ped gain.
being this the case, you make 300 USD per nmonth having fun, can progress in your gears ( 36.000 allow you best mining gears)
why should people say "ehough is enough" it is a HUGE reward for having FUN, because we are here to have FUN, for
a job i wear my suit (or my blue coverall or my uniform ) and do my shift ....

There is far less opportunity to do the same in hunting, yet people keep shooting. I don't think we are at risk of losing our miners at the moment. I would argue that more people mining would be a bigger threat than losing a few (Losing a few miners would likely lead to a few new miners picking it up, over time, alternatively it might lead to the remaining miners cycling more).

Thanks for this.. I am learning to be patent and wait when the pool is nice and full before I mine, the waiting is just so boring...

for me, i personaly think its a matter of choice. i chose to do argus to farm pyrite cause i know prices will spike during easter and that i will eventually get my tt back smday. the expected 200% mu on pyrite is supposed to cover the tt loss in the mean time. to your point of not having consistent mu, id say RT is the most consistent, albeit if not very slow way of growing your ped card.its akin to vixen farming but better. If only i was that patient🤣. I need some high mu ores in mix to keep me interested.

Had the same with dsec 30 and it's some what screwed up returns with big amps. Hard to explain but sometimes you get these really weird claim sizes that doesn't at all relate to ped dropped. Iv used terra master 6 which is 1.5ped drop and haven't got them.

I think 3 or 4 times now on some indoor mining runs i have been short changed on my runs!!
one I got recorded with these weird claim sizes that doesn't match ped dropped. I mean theirs no personal loot pool right? So in theory these = out weird ones shouldn't exist and I should be up TT wise for that run??

my personal opinion is that being 100.1% TOTAL return is free skill and free gaming.
all the above can be progress or withdrawal
3% margin is the dream of a wholesaler or a Superkarket or a derivatives trader
cyclyng 300k per month it would be 10.000 USD per year... an aoutstanding return for a funny activity

How long did it take you to cycle this much ped? I take it you were using mainly L30+amps?

I would love to know how to cycle 300K per month with mining. Of course Dsec L30 (L) + amp helps a lot and multiple rss types.
