Question: New 2026 Construction UI: Feedback Thread

Feedback Template
  • Title: summary of skills and blueprints
Description:
  • Current: MIssing Construction Session summary
  • Suggested: add it back as a tab or the session window
  • Reason: after a crafting session i would often take a screen shot of the attempt details to calculate things like bps looted how rare a certain bp was to see if it was worth farming for like armatrix and skills gained for my crafting log and the ratio of materials returned to product

1)now i have to grab the csv in the session log
    2)open up google sheets
    3)copy to google sheets
4)manualy search for the word blueprint and seperate into a list
5)manually search for the word skill and seperate into a list
    6)repeat for residue
    7)repeat for materials

Yes, I agree with this, please bring back the one-click "STATISTICS" button that lists the summary of the crafting run, with a list of all BPs looted and other info.

Scrolling to find all the BPs looted during the session is a real pain in the butt... Also, the aggregate numbers at the top of the session log makes it very difficult to figure out tt in versus tt out at the end, meaning now I have to make sure I close the crafting UI before switching blueprints to craft something else to keep the numbers clean.

Can we get some figures for TT cycled aswell or am I asking too much?

I noticed that in the BP info section it says BP "owned". Why is that there? There's no way to click a BP that's not owned currently. Sure you can rent one but once you have it the system counts you as the owner. Could this be a hint at a new BP renting system in the future? Hmm...

OK I'll deactivate it now - if that works?!?! GRRR

EDIT: YES - DEACTIVATING the GPU Accelerated Rendering is making my crafting interface actually usable!!

My crafting machine is still crashing - there's a memory NOT BEING ERASED when used because I'm still getting the error not enough RAM - 16G not enough? there's something wrong in the code - I still think memory leak because that's what a memory leak is! At least the crash is only freezing the computer for a minute and not actually causing a reboot this time...

I DEACTIVATED the GPU Accelerated Rendering

EDIT 2: The GPU RAM shortage is the cause - I crafted 500 successes for the "Still Waiting on Supplies" mission NO PROBLEMS. Now I'm gonna travel around and see how fast Setesh and PA load

EDIT 3: ARIS, Setesh and Port Atlantis all load faster.

And you think your 16gb of ram will be enough for UE5?

Out of curiosity what GPU do you have? how old is your PC you are using right now?

Maybe I'm just not seeing it in the UI, but has the ability to only use items in inventory (not storage) been removed now? Seems like a major bug if it is, but maybe it's just a UI design thing I'm missing.

Following I would remove. We already have info in the middle with what we are crafting, and also the QR of that BP:

It would be much better like just like this, without needing to scroll down. (Its annoying :) )

index.php

Maybe someone has another opinion, or why it shouldn't be this way. Might be missing something...

MA got this done in the last updade :yay:

In 19 years only 2 of my QoL suggestions on this forum were implemented. In the last year 3 already. And I also see other peoples suggestions implemented which is great. Lets keep this momentum MA.

This mouse losing focus is a serious downgrade in QOL. It's awful to lose clicks every 3rd mouseclick all the time. If you could see how horrible the game plays when trying to move around and do things.
Bug reporting: Sometimes, when I right click (as in navigating with the mouse), the result is some weird menu appearing with a drop down selector which appears to be NON game related completely. It only is happening when the game is stuttering (as in loading the vegetation; rezzing in the area). Once in awhile I am getting a menu that appears to be the Edge Browser selections (back/forward - etc). The mouse is actually interacting with the DESKTOP!!! (This is as bad or worse than the catastrophic crashing that causes a reboot - like what if you have a bank open or your crypto .com wallet opened on the desktop). These wild mouseclicks are not under control.

First of all WHY DOES THIS GAME FORCE US TO USE microsoft edge?

Agree, but first priority should be to make it work for everyone. For me, still not working most of the time (black screen or framerate drop to 2 fps). Same as with the other Chromium windows they introduced the last months.

Make it work for everyone, make it stable, and then work on expanding on functionality.

What is your pc specs?

Well it most be your specs.
Works perfectly fine for me. I got rtx 3060ti and 16gb ram
Thanks for nothing... just don't reply if you have no clue

Well nowadays 16gb is minimal. Using 8gb in 2026 is wild.
Maybe, but still above minimal requirements, and not the cause of this issue

I would not say conclusively it is not the cause of this issue. 2GB of VRAM is very small these days, even 8GB is considered to be becoming inadequate. It could be the cause of the issue. It would be helpful if everyone having this issue posted their pc specs, particularly VRAM and DRAM. If you overload your VRAM your computer will switch to DRAM and that is going to be much slower and could be causing your FPS issues.

But i can run the game just fine (not at high obviously) so if the issue would be the above, it would be the implementation of Chromium that pushes the VRAM? Why would a part of UI use so much memory anyway?

Either update minimum system requirements, or optimize the implementation of Chromium. Then i know if i should have any hope to be able to do AI missions and crafting (and whatever part of ui they will change next) or need to decide on my future in EU

Just buy more ram.

Positives:
crafting works for me on the old lappy, slow window load but works, on NO v-ram, just shared 4 GB total (in words: four)!
Issues must therefore be something else!

Also, the log now goes past 1000 entries (dunno how far though) that we can export in 2 formats.

Negatives: the discrepancy between the stated results and the actual results, due to shrap being ignored, and records are lost if we ctd or close the window.
We get a log of chats that includes stupid stuff jumbled in, so why not a crafting log that works without us having to do anything, apart from tick a box and monitor the file size maybe?

I dont seem to have any issues but I do have 64GB RAM so Im guessing it may have something to do with your pc specs as others have said.

In todays gaming 8GB ram is considered really low (was probably standard 15 years back). Today I would say 16GB is low, 32GB standard and 64GB for gaming. (Glad I bought my ram 2 years back, now the same ones costs 4 times more due to AI).

I do agree that 8GB of RAM isn't a lot.... but in my opinion shouldn't have to be the issue. Opening a ui window shouldn't add multiple GB extra RAM usage (on top of what the game already uses). I won't be buying more RAM just because MA doesn't know how to optimize code (or doesn't care).

Then again, if 8GB isn't enough, MA should change the minimum system requirements.

MindArk should get an idea how to code with this new UI-framework and lower its (V)RAM utilisation.

We had the old windows for so many years and it makes no sense to ask the players to buy new hardware as they will convert all the windows to the new UI-framework. It isn't that the new/upgraded windows would increase the gameplay. They are just windows showing static stuff (or at least nothing high-end).

As a first step it would be nice if we could turn off those useless animations. I mentioned already that the status of the animation in the crafting-UI doesn't get saved, it's always animated when opening it. And I have no idea why I should watch that animated AI-NPC on the left in the AI-chat window. That has no use at all, it takes away space.

But the new possible to change window size feels high-end to me.

High-end fancy window resizing? Oh take us into this brave new world... with all the stops out, and I can finally add a smidgeon to the loot window size. Yay future.

When i craft explosive projectiles, it would be nice to know which BP I'm looking at in the interface. All it says is I'm crafting explosive projectiles. I have to go back out of the session and look to see which EP I'm using (there's 4).

We are looking into the memory issues reported by some players, though they do not seem to be very wide-spread.

Meanwhile, some things you can try if you experience crashing:
  • Restart your computer.
  • Make sure all your drivers are up to date.
  • Turn GPU Accelerated Rendering on, if you have it off.
This is happening to me as well.... "invalid login" when i send a message to support via website i got almost instantly automatic reply to reset my password, which i already have obviously...
MindArk they don't look very concerned as no one is answering my emails to various support email addresses...

Can we get a 'Time Left: 12:00:00' style count down timer added to the crafting window?

Would be helpful for planning the day's session around the craft.

Cheers

Aloisius, could you please provide a bit more information on this?

What do you mean by "lose clicks every 3rd mouseclick"? What are you doing and where are you trying to click when this happens?

We have been unable to replicate this. Could you please explain in a bit more detail step-by-step what you are trying to do when it happens? Are you playing in fullscreen or windowed mode?

It would also be very helpful if you could provide your PC specs (feel free to PM if you don't want to post it here), and if you could provide any screenshots or video of it happening.

I lost focus on the mouse when clicking multiple times while using 2 monitors, i solved it by setting entropia to window mode.

I still loose the mouse cursor while rigth clicking on my own avatar in several ocasions (to create a team for instance), but this has been reported already.

Here's an example: I just opened the auction house and clicked the sell - then went to select the text - then the focus is gone - and I'm launched into freelook and I need to click the right mouse on the screen to then hit the esc button to then get the menu to then move the menu to the top right because I can't do anything in freelook and I can't disable the freelook unless the options menu is up in the screen...(same happens on Howling Mine EVERY TIME when I run back from the scrap asteroid quest npc - literally kills me because it makes me run off the edge if i can't click a couple times when steering when it used to be only one click of both keys to steer)

It's disheartening, and terrifying, that you can't understand or replicate this. It's related to the keyboard losing the focus too, it's the same bug that's been plaguing me since 2015 or so, very few people also get it BUT IT"S NEVER BEEN SOLVED, it's cross platform for me every computer i bring out for this stays the same! Now that it's getting worse I'm less happy than ever!

It's 100% related to the lag of the resolving when you TP into an area or use the tp chip. It's also related to the text inputs. And it's probably caused by me doing actions BEFORE the rezzing is done! It's the code, and it should just stop everything, all input, before the rezzing is done, then light up and allow people to do things. And not permanently muck up the local codebase would be great too!

Top level frustrating and rotten crappola that I have to explain it! AGAIN. And no one can understand it!! AGAIN!
