the other is 750 ped buyout.
I would have taken the chance with the 50 ped ears.

The laser carbines look awesome and also shoot at fantastic speeds. 51 shots minute?Previously you had to get the Adaptec Montgomery Anabolic for rates like that in rifles.

If the content we now know as "calypso" content is turning generic, the planet needs some themed stuff of it's own...

Items ARE more satisfying than no items, and the stab armour will be nice for baby merp and ripper...

Low TT = more noob friendly

but a new player who loots a 93 pec fap will no longer have to wait to regen as he's doing his swunting "free trial"...

also... the psychology of "getting better gear" almost immediately appeals to some... we'll see that with the mg2 gun.

look, the new items pretty much suck for experienced gamers, and they're certainly not "mentoring, taming, beacons, kerberos, or egg" (all the shit we're REALLY waiting for)...

higher level items wouldve been nice... but they're not releasing daspletor on RT, they're releasing daikiba.

Kablay gave an excellent reason as to why these exist,I will give a couple of more :

• there are now items in loot that newbies will actually want to loot
• the laser guns have high rate of fire
• the laser weapons are a natural continuation of the line started with Kiwio MK II

Would you rather people looted FAP-5, A&P, A3 and Sollomate series non-SIB UL guns? The fap may be weaker than Vivo T1, but it will also have lower decay, and more importantly, people will be maxed on it faster and will not be faced with the relatively high cost of buying one. Provided it was not looted in the first place.
