No Globals or HOFs with Level5 Amped

Is it only me or did MA really killed the mining

Im now reached a new record after 30k droped lvl5 Amped Ores i get Zero Globals and Hofs Planetside with a loose of

around 6k peds

Biggest joke i get a TT Return rate of maybe 60% only the MU helped me to not get out of peds avg MU is 22-26%

Never had so bad Returns planetside feels for me like im mining on Foma/Hell

So what i like to know did you guys get the same shit return rates ?

Return 800 ped in TT

So i say thanks to Mindark you did it now it´s imposible to Break/Even with 25% income MU

Sometimes the losing streaks last a long time :/ You play long enough and you get em', I know some players who log out for months at a time because no matter what profession they do they seem to just lose at. I on the other hand am known to be a stubborn one, and I just 'plow through' the hard times and keep on playing. I'm not suggesting you go one way or the other, but rather letting you know you're not alone in your long term losses, this happens to many players.

im sure its 30000 bombs dropped with lvl 5 so aprox 305 lvl 5 dropped

Went with 2 D-Class Amps to RT and burned one half TT D-Class Amp Planetside used the rest up and the other one in Hell,i got 2 small Hofs 98 and 99 Ped went pretty bad with a return of 50%,i would recommend to mine anywhere with Amps atm,i remember they said they changed Mining system for more Return,well my average return in mining is from 80-20 % :S (20% been a while burned a lvl 5 Amp Planet side on RT with only 10 Claims)

Well that's pretty obvious. duh. But how would you play differently then? Personaly I switched back to hunting after the changes, which has the same effect but is more entertaining.

1) hunt regularly
2) use LBML to position your drops better--if your average is lower than 85% return, you're dropping incorrectly
3) mine in less popular areas

I can say that when i started in the game in 2006 i was a miner but after 6000 drops with old ore amp 105 and 10% of the drops was with the old ore amp 103 and got a global at about 60 peds i stop mining. sens then i was mining one time for fun in a week but no more mining for me. so it happends to lot of ppl here in the game.

No i dropped 10k probes with a lvl5 now over 2 weeks period avg 400 Drops a day for 1,2k ped

and hell again today a noob gets a tower of 6k azzurite and i bet it was without a amp

That sucks period. I don't care what people say as far as suggestions, because I think this is all on MA and what they give out which needs to be more.
After I watched a guy stream his drops of 3 lvl 13 amps in HELL and get NO CLAIMS (on his birthday). I was like Whoa...
and yea I didn't really wanna play after that.

Mining and globals are no longer hand in hand.

1 i did hunt regulary too lvl62 in all combat skills but hunting Returns are woorst for me too avg of 70% TT Return
over most of regular Mobs like Droka/Drones Warrot/Troopers or Atrox/Ambulis ...

2 hmm dont know exactly what i do wrong i drop a probe every 110m running cause finder have 55m range

3 tryed this alrdy Returns on RT maybe 55% TT Caly around 60-65% Arkadia around 70-75% did enmatter and Ore mining but for me nothing helped

Did 15k Drops unamped too but what should i say the same shit Returns changed my Finders to avg known ore depths but again it didnt help .

PS: No i dont try too craft again cause this kills me in 1 day lost all 7k peds i got from a Hof in maybe 6 Hours
and i didnt craft high TT Stuff or on condition with Gambler Amps

Second i tracked all my runs with EU Hunter including cost mu for amps/Finders and return mu for every ore/enmat and the Fee i payed for Auction wish i know how to Show the logs i did with EuHunter here in Forum

And i did good with mining till April 2013 i mostly BE with Little Profit of 3K after 250k Cycled Drops with different Amps after this date feels like MA switched me to the loser lootpool

Amp Mu for me is 106% for Lvl5 and 111% for D-Class so a return MU of 20-25% must be enough to get Break/Even

For me i get now after April around 3-4 Claims after 50 Drops with lvl5 no matter which area or planet i mine only place i didnt mine anymore is Foma/Hell

Cool, what's your total tt spent vs tt return? What would also be interesting is total tt spent with MU?

So i calculated my TT Spend vs Return takes me some time but finished now
this is my data from July this month

TT Spend Overall 30000
Probes 10000
100Lvl 5 Amps 20000 (1200MU)

Return in TT 21000
Avg MU 22% 4620
Auction Fee 231
Return with MU 25620

So Spend with MU 31200 Return with MU -AF 25389
My TT Return around 70% Return with MU 81%
My Suggestion for now imposible to BE with Lvl5 Amps

What lvl prospecting are you?
My guess is that you're already a skilled miner so your bad cycles are getting worse than what you're used to. If you expect to get constant profits with the setup you used before hitting lvl 30-40 - forget it. It's only getting worse from there. Also, you can hit tower at some point. It's not unusual to get HUGE loses before a tower.

My last run was 4 amps 12 (ORES+ENMATTERS). Approximatly : 1200 PEDS (only amp) + probes.
