FYI: Non-populated planets?

There is something terribly od with that solar system. The star, omega 16reticulum is about half size of Ixion and around 1/4 Hypnos? It doesnt make any sense! If there is a planet with a bigger mass than the star, then it is the star that is orbiting that planet together with the rest of the smaller planets.
Calypso has 2 moons, however, there is no human base in either.
Calypso is the smallest planet of the system. Only Thanatos is smaller.
I like the idea of the binary planets Janus 1 and 2, but they have 3 moons? What a gravitational mess it has to be.

As much as this solar system map is entertaining, i really doubt that any of the new planets will bare any of those names :(.

1) Maybe the star isn't in scale? ;) lol (god I hope not)
2) I am pretty confident that the new planets won't even be in this solar system...

Hypnos & Ixion are both like gas giant - their (visual) size and mass is bit different if compared with Omega 16.
(according by wiki)

Omega 16
Mass (Earth=1): 616130

Ixion
Mass (Earth=1): 117,2

Hypnos
Mass (Earth=1): 439,4

U see - they are just gas. Nothing odd in this solar system.

still, looks like Janus 1&2 would crash into Hypnos when revolving

The strangest thing to me is that Calypso is the smallest planet :D

Hm... wonder if CE2 will bring star-blackouts with Ixion passing between us and Omega? ;) would be cool :silly2:

and to see Hypnos go over the skies illuminated by the sun during night ;) (like the moon is IRL, 'cept bigger)

EU is complex, but imagine if MA could pull this off, EU would really leave other games int he dust.

Yep, they sure could and hopefully will :)

So the star in the Calypso solar system is Omega 16 reticulum...

Might guess that it is located in the reticulum constellation? Wikipedia - Reticulum

No star with "omega" in the name there though, but maybe (probably) it's just made up? ;)

:) sounds great would really be cool

i really think its made up :) if they put ANY real material, someone can say random things, or say why tehre, or say that they dont take all that time, or take more time... Well, its more easy creat something new...
