-How to lose 7k in 1hr-

Hi all, i just want to share my sad story, that happened this weekend to me. With broken hearth i must accept lose of my lovely mod 2600.

I was mining on thursday night, well was almost 4 a.m (friday). to be fair . The results were +- ok. Then i saw this calling for heal at CP [Moderated]. I said to myself...ok, lets change a bit. Maybe my mining need some rest.

So i went to CP.

I showed him start tt of my fap, because i try to be fair to my hunters. Hunt went not really good for him and as we chat, he said this is all the time. Well after 1hr i was really tired. 5a.m. is 5a.m. so i called it night. after showing the decay i forgot to take my fap out of the trade window and accepted trade for the few peds earned by heal. So...i went to caly - realised what i did and tried to reach that guy. He is not responding and thats the problem. I just want to know how it is and move on.

P.S. Valuable lesson - dont be idiot like me

It's likely you'll get this "All trades are final" crap from MA. And they'll also edit your post with the avatar name removed because of some forum rule. So you kinda fucked unless the guy is a nice guy. You can try to give him some extra peds for giving it back and give him good + rep publicly in this thread as well, that's worth more than gold (to have good rep).

Could be he didn’t notice and just went afk also. Most people here are good and will return it so I think it will sort out when he sees the message. If not people should take notes of the name and don’t interact with this kind of people.

It was Tier I only...and unfortunately i dont have tier rates picture...i already checked auc...but could be sold on street and then thru auc by another player, u know how it is...

Frankly Sorry to hear about it. Sounds like something that could happen with some Fat Fuck or someone else known for disappearing after trades. Always good to double-check, especially with certain people!

It was Tier I only...and unfortunately i dont have tier rates picture...i already checked auc...but could be sold on street and then thru auc by another player, u know how it is...

I think he meant the TIR - Tier Increase Rate.

There is only a 1/200 chance that there is a second FAP with exactly the same TIR. This is like an almost unique serial number.
This makes it almost impossible for the seller to sell the FAP without having to explain where it came from.

Reputation is everything in this game if you want to get beyond a very mediocre level.
If you keep the memory of this person alive, he will feel the consequences and wont get anywhere in the game.
Just make sure you follow the forum rules.

PM the guy a link to this thread, so he knows that he is in focus.

If he isn't the dumbest, then this guy will understand and he will return it.

It's a bit shitty that they didn't add a pop-up warning, based on avg monthly/annual msrkup, whenever a p2p trade had very unequal values between the two parties. @Mindark please add this feature.

I got scammed once buying an ELM gun for 170000% that was normally around 17000% from one of the people who commonly lists scam auctions (just searched the gun and didn't sort by buyout). They wouldn't respond to any of my messages for days until they realized I was trying to figure it out on forums. We ended up making a deal where they gave me 1k ped of the 1700 back and i gave the gun back, so I was just out 700 ped for nothing instead. Hopefully the forum pressure works for you too and TY for the valuable info on someone I can blacklist from purchases or sales in the case they don't do the right thing.

Sorry, I didn't mean to bore anyone to death by writing an all-embracing 10'000 word master's thesis on probability theory that only one in two hundred (1/200 haha) wants or can understand. Nobody likes the know-it-alls, but you challanged it, so here we go as short as possible:

Axiom:
There at all 50-100 mod2600 around.
Each FAP has a TIR between 0 and 200
Each FAP has Tier 0-10

In this scenario, there are 50 to 100 mod2600, each with 10 possible Tier levels and a random TIR integer number between 0 and 200.
The probability that two owners have the same TIR value and Tier level ranges from 0.000'497 to approximately 0.005, depending on the total number of owners.


TL;DR:
The fap is almost unique, thus easy to identify.
