Outside range detection

Since a couple of weeks I’ve been noticing that I’m getting finds well outside the range of detection of my OF105… :scratch2: …way outside… even an far as 85 meters… what’s going on? Has anyone noticed something similar?

Mind you, not that I’m finding anything worth talking about... mostly small deposits… it is as if MA in showing me samples of what I could find (@$*”$*&@$#!#!!!!!!!)

P.S. ... and yes, I know that EU is dynamic...
 
The only thing that could cause this (unless its a bug) is that you ran away after dropping the bomb. The radius is effective around the spot where the bomb was dropped, so if you find a claim behind you while running away, it will show up far.
 
It is most likely because you are running in a direction, and the claim is in another direction. The range is from where the bomb is dropped, not from where you are at when the claim pops up.

Yea it happens if you move. Lets imagine. I drop bomb and walk 40meters north. I get claim 90 meters south. So the claim is 50 meters from original drop position. gettit?
 
As stated above, the range of finder is from the spot where the bomb is dropped, so running/walking/moving in any kind will create this effect :wise:
