Pirate Loot 7118 Peds TT

My Space Cattle HOF - imagine if Entropialife showed these globals. Boxer Hally Vortex :handgun::handgun::handgun:
They should show imo, hofs for players getting looted in hall of fame. I wonder how many there actually are. Heck It would be interesting. That could also be a wake up call for people who think it's "safe" since space is smaller now. It doesn't have to show the name of the player looted to not shame them further but it can show like: Player X killed a player in space/lootable pvp with a value of XXX PED! etc

It used to be a hof list for pk loot. Some dudes were killing eachother and i think someone from cK killed them both lmao.

@Socrates|Mindark How about getting the Launch into space option to require confirmation from passengers as people are starting to abuse it?

I see you watching this thread
We've asked this so many times, people haven't started to abuse it, they've abused it for a very long time.

And with the instant launch to space it's easier than ever to abuse it.

MA simply doesn't care about this.

All it takes is 1-2 missclicks or 1-2 F (one to request to access vehicle when they land on you). You enter their vehicle and they instantly take you to space, now you have to quickly log out since we can't exit vehicle in space, and hope they can't get you to lootable in time, if you're watching a movie and not paying attention constantly you're fucked.

I'm not 100% sure here, but if they got you on FL and you are currently not incognito they can just add you to guestlist by dragging your name from friendlist so it takes one missclick or one F when they land on you.

This. It's actually absurd lootable PVP is so broken/ easily abusable. It's a RCE game ffs. Make it so it is an actually to be confirmed via toxic shot or double confirmation like a trade. I mean c'mon.

did i ever mention how much pirates looting you in space is wrong? try asking MA how much you lost to that dooshbag. yes pirate.

This Dbag even pirated my name, its a know risk, and as such its fair, but the balance is skewed and the pirates should rsik more, theres not enought gamble for them. But as with so muche else in this game MA seems to not care, and just letting it slide as is.....

Does MA's business strategy still include player retention? It seems they're willing to allow this bs to continue for the sake of what? A lot of people leave after being looted like that. Just hurts the players, the game and its image. Lootable should be limited to special zones on planets, have a special mechanic to it, but it's in space too putting travelers at risk and what's the result? What's the benefit? All the planets that are far away from Calypso are just dead and/or abandoned, even Monria for the most part. This has to change if the developers are willing to move forward with their new planet building system, they need to show that what they got already works, but there's problems with that, and one of these problems is space piracy.

MS or TPT, thats what you need to use, if they remove pvp in space that means MS owners just give up and basically MS useless, so its not an option. Btw TPT too expensive and pointless.

Christ Boxer! You're an absolute villian but a gz is a gz.

The blighter has got me twice I think, probably 400 ped all in last year. Have to hand it to him he's a damn good pirate just fucking sucks when they catch you slipping.

No actual hate though the games the game, warp services and now teleport tokens are there for a reason. Don't wanna lose the house, don't carry it into pvp.

People have been buying so many warps that most of those ships are sitting in space unused and the planets they're supposed to fly to are dead. Clearly the system isn't working as intended. Even the new token system, as you and others have said multiple times, is poorly balanced. Fix the core first, then make adjustments.

Most of ships, correct (main planet), that's what you see lets say outside calypso SS, but maybe somebody resting / holiday, also maybe somebody left, but somebody not doing flights just keeping for themselves like hunting / mining, there is a lot of options and you are looking with closed eyes
And some planet will be dead when nobody will be there in some period - and nobody knows what will happen, maybe some new event + some pixels of items and half of people will join it
can you explain what does it mean fix core first? just curious (i mean, yes, there is stuff that requires to take a look (like UE5 + some fixes))

Here's an example. ARIS was launched recently. So many people in there, why? It's not just the MU and the new items, the planet is close to Calypso and does not require going through lootable to get to it, you can even TP back tpo Caly for free, hence why it's so popular. So that's what people need: good items to work towards, proximity to the capital, no pirates. All of that facilitates mass activity, including trade, yes, you can trade on ARIS, there's stuff moving an auction, unlike other places, where everything is just dead and you got a pirate stationed at the SS. So when it comes to things that need fixing, look at what was done right with ARIS and what's being done wrong elsewhere.

Saw this guy stalking me from the bottom of the space server between Ark and Ark moon about a week ago. I felt very uncomfortable.

Ironic that OP came here for boasting, but might also with this thread shed enough light on the topic which could lead to Mindark making some form of change taking away his livelihood lmao
Im no longer seeing people advocate against space pvp out here, I guess that is over with...:poop::silly::twocents:🤡

Just because people give up mentioning something doesn't mean it is no longer relevant.
Being forced to go through lootable space to get to another planet is no longer strictly true, it is now a weight thing, plus a cost of something like 25 peds one way with tp tokens (I believe now 10, not 15, are required - was I dreaming that?)

If a trader now has to undress to boxer shorts (irony) to save weight and transport as much mu as possible, then ok I guess. I'm still against forced pvp between planets overall, though. Suggestions say limit the lootable amount. I agree that might work, amongst so many dev options that have been suggested and not implemented. UE5?...

The only problem I have with boxer is that he's using a quad with green status and I find that lame af. Other than that, he has own risks etc so whateva'.

Because he's sitting and waiting in a passenger seat. But when he starts chasing then he turns red.
A ship's default status is blue, not green. It's a ship farmed for notability, indeed used as you described. Precisely this is what i find lame af.

I really, really wonder what an IRL court's take on this would be in my country.

And whether or not they would order to stop game operations––not because of gambling and such (which I strongly doubt applies), but for l00table PvP.
just imagine money laundering cases with lootable use to transfger non legit money from one player to another...
anyone remember GEM issue in Resource Mayhem?

personally i just travel in space with AFK safe warp or i am without anything moving since i lost 600 ped pills (pretty stupid noob error did not know pills were lootable, i think its superstupid that a hunting item can be stolen (my winter candy canes were not so i assumed all pwoer up were safe)

[Moderated: Removed rule violation]

still even if i can avoid loosing my MONEY (Yes PED are MONEY and i paid for them i can accept activity tax but not being ROBBED of my money, i find this superstupid featire, and many people will ragequit for loosing 700 Euro (YES... PED MY ASS... those are 700 Euro stolen, in italy it is 15 day a worker income, in ROMANIA it is it 1 month in albania almost 2 months... that can lead to people not depositing, not traveling not hunting.
and if it has to be this STUPID feature, lte's apply 2.0 rules.. whoi kills gets back 98% of COST TO KILL... even with multipliers like monsters.. sometime 30% of cost to kill, sometime 200x but if you spend 2 ped to kill a vessel you must earn from 60 pec to 200 ped... and the worst part is being SENT BACK TO START so even loosing the time to fly.
stupid space, stupid moarketing invention. those 3 people loving PVP can go to EVE Online or Overwatch1/2
