Pop-up for new Private messages!

Sorry if this has been mentioned before but I didn't spot it.

I PM'd someone the other day and they didn't spot it till 9 days later....the little bold private message is not enough most of the time - particularly for new users. Most forums I've used in the past have a pop-up when u log on saying "You have X new private messages"...

Why not here Neo? Why, why WHY!!!

EntropiaForum does have this feature; members simply need to enable it in their User Control Panel Options.

All pop-ups irritate the hell out of me anyway, so now that I know about the enable pop-up feature... I still won't be using it.

To be fair, the highlighted "Unread 1" is noticeable for me. More so than on other sites that I use. I guess it's all down to personal choice when all is said and done.
