Possible Scammer Alert!!!! BEWARE!!!!!

Hope this saves someone from losing an armour!

I'm standing in Echidna today and this person {removed} from soc Warants ', please pay attension to the ' at the end of Warants so not to confuse it with the REAL Warants!

The following conversation not only does he/she confess to having 3 avatars but that 1 of them is Kostja Kostja Gretic, now i lied when I said I know Kostja as I dont but I was trying to catch him out and it seems it worked as when I asked him to come on Teamspeak he promptly left and never said anything after that. Also i'm pretty sure he is NOT Kostja as why have a skilled Avatar so skilled like Kostja if your in Warants lol.....

All in all it seems this is a noob in EU (no mining/hunting/crafting history on Tracker since 2008) that is trying to scam people out of armours.

Pay notice to him being lvl 68 tier upgrader with 96% material return at tiering lmfao!

Also, why the heck is Banker Banker Manager still among the active avatars if he's Neverdie's avatar, and it's against the contract between planet partner and MA for the pp to have an active avatar? (I'm assuming ND is listed as seller of the estates on new planets because his avatar is now working like estate broker's avatar on Calypso? If it's not as restricted as the estate broker - why is that? If Banker Banker Manager is not active, why's the bank still open?)

This person also came up to me today in twin, she saw me in my spartacus and hermes then followed me to the terminal.
I also noticed the "CEO (Warrants')" but there were two mistakes, and the first one I noticed was the "CEO"....
It's funny that she/he's going around to people with good armor, who obviously know better.
Interesting scam attempt. But not even worth questioning the ava on it..

actually not the most interesting, as its been done before. but one of the most annoying, since it drags the reputation of societies and people through the mud. (this one is rather light on the copying theme, but its been heavier in the past to the point of additional naming rules by MA)

Yes, i remember the older "armor upgrade" scam attempts, but now it's harder to warn people because it is actually possible to upgrade it. In a way, MA made it easier for scammers.

Scammers and mouthy n00bs calling others n00bs are becoming a more and more common sight...

Now this is something people should get banned for. Yet I remember a certain "Monica" from 2006 or so (reported it) that basically tried the same (converting gremlin to boar lol), who was never banned and made at least one victim as was posted here on EF/PCF one day.

So experience tells me this is something no action will be taken against by support probably. :sad:

Hey JC...Perhaps you could suggest to the powers that be that in cases like this, an OBVIOUS scam attempt, it will benefit the community more to actually SEE the person's name that is trying to pull (such an idiotic and obvious) scam.

That way they we will know who and what they are when we see them, if they manage to escape the ban stick, after they dream up another (more than likely, idiotic) scam.

Just a suggestion.

As the other poster says this is OBVIOUSLY a scam attempt and as a game player you will see this yourself!

Now I can get away with posts saying Ericarrie Ericarrie Saoirse (my avatar name used for fear of bad naming someone else lol) mob trained me so much today she is such a slut I hate her and I reported her! I can even post pics of the avatar doing it here.

But I cant post about someone who is trying to do wrong to the community even if I have proof.....

Makes the rule pointless.....

P.s. I've signed up to other forums for this exact reason but being the official game forum MOST if not ALL Entropians will sign here first thus making this site the most viewed and best way to let bad apple's like this person be found out!
