News: Prospector Rush

I think lot of guys didint get part of this event. Its so calculated to pay for MindArk's Shares price drop game studio dont make something for You as a Player.
They put it as house dont have cash for UE5.
My suggestion is simple. Just play, dont rush it. even when the last ship will be poll'ed from system after 5 or even 10 years its better for us all.
We already have more ships then needed. We already got group of people that monopolised top end game items.
We see already never ending "bumps" of sale posts. We all know about colletral system that shows, no one from new depositors wish to "invest" in uber stuff.

Thats just jump on naivety of new depositors, dont jump to that pit. Let the snake eat own tail. As the only way to repair all bugs and fix all old is to put platform to new hands. That pursuit created is same like shares on NGO help page(that already bancrupt and was sold).

its all about taking out of pocket +100 000$ or speaking the language of financial raports. 1M SEK.
 
So I assume mining wise theirs no lucky drop parts then? And that all those parts are crafted and that consumables in their token trader would be insane prices based on current TT let alone mark up value. No items as of yet in their suspect that will come in time but seriously.

Surely I got this wrong but it seems this is more an event for people to get rid their stock piles acquired from months building up then an actual here and now go out mining find this while your hitrate is massively effected from all other miners at least smart way doing it.

Something everyone should make note of is that you need 10k ped of spaceship construction packages to get a token. 1 attempt of the spaceship construction package bp is 248 ped (EntropiaNexus data I'm unsure about. If the click cost is less, you'll need more attempts of construction package), so it will take around 30-40 successes of the bp depending on luck, meaning expect 75-100 clicks to get a spaceship. On top of this, the spacecraft construction package bp takes 3 of each spaceship subcomponent to craft, so expect a more significant subcomponent crafts along with this.

Edit: I had the math on the subcomponents done here, but was using entropianexus data that didn't all make sense about the construction package (the components tt value is higher than the bp cost even though they aren't boosted bps, which doesn't seem right). I'll have to see crafted subcomponents before I can accurately guage an estimate of attempts of subcomponents (life support components, engine components, etc...) needed to make a ship entirely. But as a reference, if 1 life support component bp success gives 1 life support component, you would need 7.5 attempts of this at 40% success to get 1 attempt of spaceship construction package. Meaning in this scenario you would need between 75*7.5 (563) - 7.5*100 (750) attempts of spaceship life support components to have enough of that component for a ship. Rinse repeat for every component.

Edit 2: I think entropianexus data and general data going around is wrong, I would anticipate a lot more spaceship construction package bps will be needed.
I'll probably come back to update a rough estimate for the total input needed for a ship once I can confirm some data. The ratio of morpheus and welding wire tt value to subcomponent tt value will be significant for determining how many subcomponent bp clicks are needed.

Correctamundo, so far not much of a miningevent. More a sellingevent if anything

So what is wrong with selling your stockpile when there is a hunt or crafting event?

Is just super that at some point you can sell some stocks at much higher MU than you planned, that's just how mining works.

Mining between other miners claims will not change your return nor your HR, I do that very often.

But since I sold a lot more now than I expected, it's time to go mining again now, need to stock up for when MM almost starts. ;) and I'm totally out of oil and other resources !!!

Got nothing personally against that part but the way it was dressed up like they finally sorted mining and actually could add at least asteroid fragments maybe in sooto giving a small chance scoring something rare but yeah il wait and see ATM.
 
Is L bp drop bugged again? havent got any kind in 5k clicks or so

Was not in plan that morpheus to be found on Eudoria?
Eudoria is very big and from what I see morpheus is only found in Argus.
Is "Argus mining event" started?

I belive this "only Argus trick" bring all people in the same spot and let them to enjoy the beauty of overmining.

To be able to found morpheus only in one small area was my dream since I was a small kid.

Dont get me wrong, but I did expect more from MA.
They say Unreal is on the way. OK
Lets hope Unreal will bring more players ready to start in this brillian gameplay.
Will bring to MA so much money to put 200 miners in one spot? How many of them will stay after they see what is happen when you go with other 5 miners in same area?

Only 2 materials on rare mode?
1 of them droped in only same area over and over again?
So many servers on Eudoria...7 new blueprints and only 2 strong materials?
Why not 10 strong materials to be place and you can find only 1 on 1 server?
So people will need to rush on 10 servers.

And btw, THX MA.....that 1 hour of "banned freedom" tell me all I need to know.
You never learn that 99% is your fault for all.
Learn to code better your game.
Search people to change the way you do events.
Then will be no leak before events start

Used to be Morpheus in pvp 4 lootable if memory serves me right, not been there in a good age though.

I do belive I was to sarcastic on start and others understand me wrong.

Why not to have Sooto in the new BP?
Special token what you need to be able to craft.
You can get them anywhere on Calypso.
So you dont need to go with 30 more miners in same place.
You will still be able to farm anywhere and dont have more people next to you
But no.....lets put them all in one area and let the HR go insane...
Will be very funny.

I agree, the Argus mutant miner bus queue is kinda sad state of affairs.
Is, what it is i guess though :)
 
At the end of the day it comes to this . Knowing Mindark for 20 years im shure they are not just going to hand PED printers to people im guessing average return will be arround 80% if not lower. How is this going to work exactly naturally rich will buy them rest will farm materials to sell and then what ? You have people getting airborn for mining that means there will be pirates taking shots at them and it's going to be like EVE online ? Then you will need logistic ships to provide healing im guessing mining ships wont be able to sustain themselves.
We have too little information to work with are the mining lasers going to be using mining crystals fuel ? What the return rate would be ? How is this going to affect the game economy ? Or are we just going on a dice throw and hoping that it won't be throwing even more money in the sand ?
Game economy needs changes not just more stuff people need to roll the dice for in hope they can make some income !
 
Is event still ongoing ? There are no new items dropping and market and activity seems slow ?

Check Auktuma post #260. That would give you an idea of what is in demand for this event. Infact all of the three main professions are involved.

I might be wrong but this will last for a while. It's not a race event it's more like an endurance one, of course for those with big wallets.
 
As it was suggested, I think Argus good times are headed for space. Enjoy while it lasts.

I'm a newbie miner, but Leeloo's message tells me my thinking on inventory-capital management is correct.

P.s. Did ~5-6 hours hunting yesterday, got ~10ped of rare ingots.

Argus good time should have never existed, rare ores should stay in lootable pvp
 
Personally I don't have skills and gear to mine in Argus and surprisingly you managed to make me look like I'm complaining, when my original intention was address complaints I saw people make in recent pages:
1. "Rares only drop in Argus" - False, looted them hunting too.
2. hit rate is shit, everyone is following everybody's tail (the gist of it) - its a problem of storage management, not MA's nor other participants.

Entropia Universe is one RCE. REAL CASH ECONOMY.
Now, how is working this ?
There is AH, so called Action House.
In that place you trade items with others.
Players set up a MU price for every items trade there.
There are 2 very important side.
- supply
- demand.
When demand is bigger that supply usually MU price go up.
When the supply is greater than the demand, a lot of players go on undercuting mode.
What is undercuting mode?
Undercuting mode reduce the MU price .
Exemple: I come and put iron on 103% for sale, you come and put on 102,50. Next one will come and put on 102%. And some times "good people" put way lower even under TT price.
This make the market unstable.
LIke a player, you search to go hunting,mining or crafting.
After you finish you mission there you start to sell the items you get. You want to get a price that will cover your lost.
But, when you go to AH and put your materials to sell and see in only 2 hours there are more that 10 people who do undercuting way way lower that is supose to be....is no more fun.
What you make when you see MU dont cover you? You stop. Like others big hunters who you now dont even see them even in mayhems.
If you like this write me and I will be more that happy to buy all your materials at nanocube price. 100.30% is my best price what I can make for you. Is a good deal, belive me.

Update: I belive the best way right now is to be a reseller.
So yeah, WTB all materials on nanocube price.
Help me so I can help AH with cheap price.
