Congrats to skippie. While I find it ludicrous the amount of items and value of loot he keeps getting, I understand the volume of ped he blows on a daily basis - so it's just like this analogy for 99% of the players of EU:
Average player goes to a casino, sits down at a slot machine with $100, and does $0.10 spins all day. When he hits it 'big' he gets a few bucks, maybe 10~20 bucks.
Big player sits next to him, puts in $10k and when HE hits big, it's $1k's at a time.
Not going to get into item loot 'dynamics' or anything.
But the one thing I find absolutely BS about this, is a proteron DNA sample dropping from not only another creature, but a privately owned asteroid (yes, it's an asteroid now - look at the map image, that ain't a space station only anymore) from a creature that 80% of the populace can't AFFORD to hunt on a regular basis, let alone that many have the bankroll to do more than a quick couple hour hunt on - AND is a unique mob TO that privately owned land area.
Honestly if this DNA part had dropped planetside, I wouldn't be bitching about this. We had other parts drop off other mobs randomly (dna from robots. wtf...) but could be explained if you tried. This one, however, takes the cake in terms of "Well hell, gotta keep our investors happy. Prots are 80% of all loot... ok! *bright idea* We'll 'rebalance' prots, and then have one of the DNA's drop from CP!".
Ack... I'm not one to sell out over this, but my friends list is getting slimmer every week now, and the sellout threads and listings of ESI's keep growing. MA AND FPC need to pop their collective heads out of whatever orifices they have them residing in, and pay attention to the masses before there is a mass withdrawal that they can't pay...
