I received an email from the Entropia Universe administration. They said this event was against the rules. I also reported what was done in the Royal Club. Unfortunately, we are ending it. entropia administration also said that trading points for sweat is prohibited on Twitch. I wish everyone good games.​

Anyone can participate in this project.

The project will be run on Twitch at

IDEA

  • Provide a new system for sweaters with SSI gone​
  • Nearly completely automated minus payouts​
  • Runs 24/7 allowing more reward potential​

INTRODUCTION​

Profitable Sweat Project !

With SSI leaving EU, I felt it was necessary to do something for the sweaters. Not only will this be a better and easier system to maintain for everyone involved, but it will allow sweaters to earn their sweat sales points passively while offline.

The project will run through Twitch at

Sweaters will be able to sell sweat at 6PED/1k once they reach 10k channel points. This will provide a premium price for their time, but also prevent them from missing out on specific in game event times.


BREAKDOWN​

  • Automated: The channel point system is automated and easy to maintain.
  • 24/7 Earning: Channel will run 24/7, giving sweaters much more convenience and earning potential.
  • EU/Twitch Compliant: The stream will run 24/7, but we will comply with the rules in place. When we are live in the EU section we will be playing EU and completing sweat buys.
When offline EU, we will only stream in just chatting, allowing sweaters to continue stacking channel points for sweat buys.

Hasn't Mindark been reporting these to twitch or people been reporting these sweat streams to twitch? I've seen a lot less of them.

Nothing but a cash grab for the streamer themselves. I've seen the numbers. They are giving back their viewers pennies for how much the adds bring in (with even 30-40 viewers at a time)

Only two good sweat stream ideas were wrench crowbar and the guy from forever ago. I forget his name. But they actually played the game and chatted with their viewers, did events etc.

As an aside with the ad revenue, 6p/k you lose money at 10k channel points as a heads up.

History has shown the format does not work for longterm.

As a long supporter of your stream an an old friend in game, I really value your opinion.

This is a copy of my project, which I am working really hard to do the right way. We started right as SSI was leaving and have already done over 500PED in sweat redemptions in the last 4 days. The first month of redeems is a huge investment and goal is for longterm ads to pay for alll the sweat.

I get the concern behind AFK streams, and this is why every night Ive been streaming our massive circle with cam and killteam with over 70 average viewer count. Trying to make fun events etc for everyone.

Feel free to stop by when you see me live in EU for yourself, I'm there and having fun.

You already know I'll never be able to support it. You know how I have always felt about sweat streams and how they hurt the community more than help them. It's the reason why all my events and giveaways was from Players themselves donating to me in game or on stream.

I think the bare minimum of having a camera and talking, showing the person behind the grift is the least that can be done.

But no, I have not and will never think a sweat circle is an event. It's the reason why Next Islands Community Recognition didn't allow sweat events after the first iteration.

it's not gameplay, it's not rewarding for the game or the community, as much as it is for the streamer.

It actively hurts the community as well as new players looking to join our community when they see people using and abusing a system that has seen streamer after streamer get kicked off of the Entropia Category, Revenue privllages removed etc.

It's been stated time and time again that this breaks Twitch's ToS AND that Mindark does not like these type of streams.
And even if Mindark and Twitch change their opinions of it, it's still not something I would support as it's just scummy.

Other streamers spend tens, hundreds, thousands of ped an hour to try and entertain or educate or gamble or all the three for their viewers with zero expectations from the viewers except some conversation. This is the exact opposite of that.

Also has his channel to sub only so nobody can even talk in the chat or redeem points without subscribing. Only reason he has and followers is because of the gotcha name he's using.
 
The aim is to support new players. It is not a copy of anyone, it is a feature on twitch. You are trying to rob people by calling them to your own land. We call you Boreas. Come on, look and don't go crazy.

You literally showed up and wiped our circle. Saw that I was streaming to a huge audience on twitch, and literally copied and pasted my entire twitch profile. You changed like 2 words. I don't need to do anything here. Everyone will see you for what you are. 80 people saw what you pulled last night.

Same guy starting some "ultimate universe business venture" and also mob-pking sweaters at turp cage. This player reeks of "making money at any cost"

Sir, you are right. I informed them before starting the event. They are still trying to denigrate me. It doesn't matter, I am thinking of people who are new to the game. I don't have an ego.

Arthur, this isn't the kind of person anyone wants to work with. I am already working with Mac, MAYA, and a couple other great EU streamers.

This guy is just trying to ride the success of the project we've been grinding everyday to grow and keep busy.


I am 100% for free market and putting your own twist on things to make them better/different than the competition. And above all else to support the EU community we all love.

It's really shameful, you are really rude. You weren't making a sound when I was buying sweats without expecting anything in return from the players in your field. Are you a man now? You always attack from somewhere, attack. It doesn't matter, the new players will be the winners.

Seeing that almost every single post of theres on the forum is about their "helping the community" sweat streams. Shows that they don't care about the actually community and playerbase.

You can't help the people who try to just make a quick buck, their selfishness shows sooner or later every single time.

If he had went about it a different way I wouldn't even be in his thread. I'm happy to support other streamers and have been giving love to other channels every night. It's about what he did when he first showed up to RC last night, and then later after leaving he just copy pasted the whole project and posted it spamming all over trade etc.
 
We all know majority of new players do not use this forum, all planets split on different forums, just not ideal. We all know this.

I have always spent most my time in game communicating that way or on twitch.

The community told me I should make a forum post, thats the reason I made one.

I also know that any reward that I ever won on your personal stream over the years I told you to keep it and pay it forward to the newbies. I'm not trying to be anyone but myself here. I just don't like what Furkan pulled.
