Purchase Custom Weapons/Tools from Mindark?

.................................
I would so like to see the high grade items like Mod FAP, Mod Merc ect. with a number on it and made it a public info that show how many of them are in inventory of player, similar as the OLA are show on the Map.
No one know if there is 10 or 100 Mod Merc (example) while everyone can look at the map and know that there is already 66 OLA sold or given.

Maybe I'm wrong but I dont think that there is 66 Mod FAP and 66 Mod Merc and 66 Mod whatever ect... outside.

I see your point of view, but on the other hand, you miss the point that those items are the most imbalanced in game. There are already too many of those.

I think all people would beneffit more if any new item, would be as good or better than the old ones, but would have higher skill requirements. For example, have a mod fap that heals 250 HP, has 30 reload, is maxed at level 100 paramedic and decays 1 pec/click. Also, at level 0 it would have 22 reload and would heal 75.

Such an item it would still be one of the best items on the market at any skill level anyone would have, but for someone to use it at full capacity, one would have to skill a lot or buy a lot of skills. That would make skills on market have a lot of value once again, because each level of paramedic would give a new level of power to the owner of such a fap, so it would make sense for him to chip in paramedic all the tim until he has that fap maxed.

And item with the stats of IMKII, but 75 reload, and 20% more damage would be great to have if it can only be used at level 120 in hit and damage. Or similar, with a foe with more range and more damage, but needs more skill.

MA can drop such items in uber loots, since they drop uber loots anyway. They could have huge TT, and minimuim TT could be around 30k peds, so they would beneffit from having a lot of TT stuck in such an item no one would ever TT. A fap like that could easy have 100k ped TT and minimum TT 50k. So they would not need to release such items in auction. In loot is just as fine. You buy them from MA simply by hunting, and not willing to sell that item to TT. More than that, it would make people deposit a lot in order to buy/chip in in order to use properly such items.

That and having skill unlocks at levels over 100 could save the game and make a lot of items gain the value once again, and also make people willing to invest in game even more.

Edit:

I wish I would have wrote some of this in that survey... but I do hope they read the forum. They own it now after all...

Exactly.

There should be exactly ZERO of them.

When MA released these items back then was the moment they started to paint themselves into a corner.

Not to mention the question of how many of these items today in existance have really looted (and not duped).

So what item was that?
Who bought it from MA?
How much did he/she pay for it?
What source you got this information from????

Wonder if they are talking about the Star Mercury rifle - which was a completely different scenario I believe...

On the other hand customized items... related to estates, yes, it's been done... look at the estate upgrade offers, and how they all came about after Neverdie asked for and was granted that music making thingy in the bank to go along with the radio upstairs on the astroid...

If I remember right, those guns have been named after the three hunters who won first mayhem event.
That was MA´s decision to name these items that way, and nothing player ordered.

There are other items that have been named after players, Skams Handbag, McCormic Safe, but don´t know the story around that, as I haven´t been in EU when these items have been introduced.

No, there should be some of them. There should be goals for people. There should be things worth having. Things that are expensive for a good reason. There should be a limited amount of those. Because eventually, those who own those items invest most in this game. By depositing a lot to buy them, or by not selling them and having a lot of value blocked in them and having trust in this platform. The only way for this game to work is to have market value generated. So you need to have some people doing common sense things and making profit with the right amount of skills and right gear. If that won't happen, no one actually has any reason to deposit in this game.

People only deposit because they hope that at some point they will reach the level when they are self sufficient and/or proffit. For this reason, profitable setups are needed for the very existance of this universe. If in this place there will only be examples of failure or success due to lucky uber loots and after that nothing, people will just walk away in time. There will only stay the gamblers. And is clear that gamblers are a huge part of the market.

One of the questions in their survey was how much time you spend chasing hof's, managing assets or doing social interaction. You did not had many other options, so in their opinion is more or less all you can do in EU. That means that if you do anything and not chasing hof's you basically don't play the game. But if you only chase the hof's. you only gamble....
