You actually have to buy Force Nexus. Put Nexus and Sweat in the tt refiner and you'll get Mind Essence in return!

Only if you have a huge amount of sweat. Otherwise you're probably better off just trading the sweat on the streets. I think it goes for roughly 2.5 PED per 1000 bottles these days.
