Rare item search problem

Spotted a problem doing some searches of rare items just now


Entering 'RX OpTac x2 Harness' (without the quotes ofc) gives a list of harnesses, both male and female.

Entering 'RX OpTac x2 Harness (M)' gives a list of male harnesses

Entering 'RX OpTac x2 Harness (F)' gives no results???

I actualy did a copy&paste of 'RX OpTac x2 Harness (F)' from the page listing all harnesses, so it's not a simple spelling error This problem doesn't seem to happen with other armour like dune rider, although not tested them all.

There are two spaces between Harness and (F). Browsers collapse extra spacing for display, that's why copying back didn't work.

Not sure what can be done about this.

Unfortunately there are loads of items in Entropia where we have double spaces

Tested and you're right, 'RX OpTac x2 Harness{two spaces}(F)' pulled up the results.

I can't think if a single example where two spaces would be necessary, so why don't you remove excessive spaces before inserting into the database? Also, it would take about 30 seconds to write a simple bit of code could to run through the whole dB and eliminate all excessive spaces, so there's no reason for this bug to be there.
