Question: Recommendation on what gun to upgrade to.

Looking for recommendation's on what gun to upgrade to. I'm currently using EWE EP-41 Military, Adjusted tier 6. My hit/damage skills are on 60 for rifle and pistol. Just looking to see what people recommend upgrading to after this, it can include guns with higher skill requirements.
 
If you don't have required skills you wouldn't be able to use the gun fully. make sure to check required profession lvl for each gun.
 
What are your goals for the gun?

Do you 75% during mayhem and 25% between? And do you have a budget?

Yes I know this, but it will help to know what to work and save towards.

Just wanting to know what would be good to upgrade to.
 
I had an EP41 adjusted and upgraded to Emik Enigma L4, I also purchased an ML-35 adjusted. I am very happy with both weapons, but the ML-35 is the better value for money. Despite it being a lower DPS you are doing damage from a much further distance which people often seem to forget.

Omegaton Igni L1100E or LR-40 or better 2.0 stuff.
 
Little more info like budget and goals playstyle make it easier to reccomend a weapon thats right for you, best in slot is easy to workout from weapon compare tool

Warmdogg's questions were carefully selected to provide tailored feedback to your goals and style. There are hundreds of guns you could upgrade to, but not all of them would be suited to your goals or play style.

If you'd like just casual suggestions without much selective thought, I'd recommend an LP-70 FEN Edition. It is nearly your level, offers superior efficiency, excellent DPP, and reasonable DPS. At the higher tiers it is capable of hunting any mob in the game that was designed to be hunted solo.

This is mostly what I'm looking for. Just give me something to work towards and various suggestions.

I would probably say my main goal would be to be able to hunt some of the bigger Eomon during this year's migration. I could hunt the young-old last year, but looking to try and hunt some of the bigger one's this year. I have the defensive gear and very helpful friend that does heals when needed, just not the DPS. Also looking to get into Moloch depths, but would take 50-60 shots to kill each Moloch with my gun now.

This is what I've got so far. It's my current gun compared to all others at tier 0 and highest amp. I'm really liking the LP-70, but think might be bit out of my price reach, as only record on auction being sold is tier 2 at 62k. I'm thinking I might try and work towards getting either the Emik Enigma L4 or ML-35, adjusted.

Currently that same gun would be 120-150k
 
I’ve had an adj ML (T7) for a few years now, it’s nice. I didn’t start doing any noticeable more dps with L options until I got closer to lvl 90.

I won’t believe the 2.0 guns are worth more than I pay for vehicles IRL until I try one someday myself. Anyone who spends $30k+ USD in a video game would have a pretty strong motive for biased reviews.
 
In your place i would ask a different question.
What weapon should i choose in XXX price range? XXX means your budget.
Personally i would go for LR60 augmented cause of range and eff, or bp 70, even a high tiered lr 40, but those are high priced and hard to find someone who sells them.
Instead of listening all kind of stories, just say how much money you have and will be easy for the community to help you out.

I do care why you recommend a gun. I'm just looking for a variety, then I'll make my own comparison between recommendations and choose the one I feel is right.
 
If staying with laser pistols there's also the Mayhem scintillators where one is on in game auction right now. Has quite the level requirement but you get 1% extra crit chance
 
Lasers are good to avoid, especially pistols. I am not sure how you calculate that dpp on laser pistol with mayhem amp/armatrix amp, without taking amp markup into calculation, where blp weapons are far more superior then laser dpp wise.

Go after enigma L2-L4 if you are after a pistol, or bp-70 perfected if you are rich :)
 
Emik Enigma L4 is a good choice. You're at 60 in the BLP professions and most of those pistols in game currently have been tiered up. That will permit you to use skill enhancers on the way up to 65. It's a very nice DPS bump over the EP-41 and Adjusted Maddox with decent efficiency. Finally they are reasonably priced compared to the 2.0 market. Add an Adjusted ML-35 when your skills allow.
