Recommended levels for finders

I tested out in the same sort of way on an unamped F-105 and F-101 (which I haven't used in a very long time).
No point in listing the individual shots, but the hit rate results were:
15/40 shots (one or two hits on a combined ore/enmatter probe)
20/80 hits
F-105 8/40
F-101 12/40
Poor results (and, unusually for me on an unamped run, possibly a loss. 9 PED down on TT value. Haven't bothered to calculate the MV).
I seemed to do OK in areas that I knew well, but random probing got me nothing - unlike the bigger finders.

Absolutely.
I'm going to do another sample now. And intend to do a few more at intervals over the next weeks (though, as you can see, I don't spend much time on Calypso nowadays). Enough then to do some statistical tests.
