Question: Regarding Decay returns in mining loot

Hello All,

I was wondering if, like in hunting, the decay costs of the Mining equipment are returned in claim TT (added to the loot) when we hit a claim?

Not sure if to start using Amps and Enchancers. So thought would ask coz of the loot 2.0 and stuff.

There wasn't really a loot 2.0 for mining, just hunting mostly.

Finder decay is returned. at least partially anyways. There's no indication that excavators are, especially since that comes in after the claim size is calculated. Amps by the nature increase claim size by increasing decay, so it's probes + amp + finder decay. That said, finder decay is such a minor effect you won't detect it unless you do a lot of mining or are using higher decay finders.

Limited can often win out over the cost of enhancers + UL finder depending on skill level and target depth.
