FYI: Regarding the Arena

Went to try to do an arena boss yesterday but in the last second two guys left because they didn't think we would make it which was a shame since I am most certain we would have.

I would like to remind you that it is super easy to see once you start shooting. 3.5% of health minimum needs to be gone after 60s (preferably more since there are the other spawns throughout).

If after a few seconds the math is done and deemed a failure, unequip armor or just go into the fire. Nothing bad happens by staying inside when the door closes.

Also, to the best of my knowledge the input is returned if the bossfight fails. I haven't seen this firsthand though so if someone could confirm that would be lovely.

Edit: So apparently gonna need even faster pace, gonna check it out tonight BUT got confirmed you do get shrapnel back if it fails.

Yeah the comfortable kills tend to be down at 90% after 1 minute, as you need to factor in all of the add spawns and invulnerability phases.

90% after one minute is a tad bit more than I expected, did not account for all of that (haven't been there enough).

But point would still stand that it is possible to try and abandon without wasting half an hour or magically lose money. There is no penalty to dying in EU.

Why don't they use the system they have in place already, like for the spina cave boss, if it's small team it's the smaller boss, perhaps a similar thing can be introduced for this. Dynamic boss based on amount of people that joined.

That would be cool. It is so much fun to get together for bosses but it sucks when it doesn't get done. The arena is horrible design with the waiting part.
