Seperate from the discussion to avoid botting or not.

Why would MA add something that will cut in their income?
If you want something to succeed, you need to dangle a carrot, rather then cut one in half.

This is very likely one reason. When people happily cycle 50k a day without caring about losses since they want their skill levels up. I am honestly not sure if I would be bothered with them if I was MA.

Planet partners and MA already made the game bot friendly with stuff like 50h loot pills and the instances on Cyrene and NI. Having some instances even auto loot for you just screams "Come here bot".

I am not as certain as others that the bottling actually has a really big impact on the market but if we pretend like it has for a moment, why not just release bottling instances? Make the mobs drop only shrap, make it allowed there and nowhere else and then actually act on reported players. That way the skill freaks can still get their numbers up while contributing to the existence of this game. MA gets their money, the rest of us get a few more ped a month in MU.

Don't forget though that if resources were to go up then so will a lot of L stuff and it would only benefit UL owners which are the root to all evil according to PCF.

I voted yes.

A time to check AFK would be needed at every 30 minutes if not sooner, with the possibility of manually solving it so that if you're doign something it doesn't interrupt you in a bossfight or something. Cabal introduced I believe 15 years ago a simple random math ecuation that you had to solve every 45 minutes and it did good, bots were diminished. That would be good here as well.

OR entirely remove any MU from AFKable mobs and let them just loot UA
100% Agree, Active gameplay will create more MU :wise:
Add a timed AFK counter with random math every hour

( ) I don't care

I don't even know how you can macro : if I press F several times as its suggested here, it changes the selected mob. :D

But if some solution is implemented, pls target only the macro/bots, not the rest of the population.
We already have too many restrictions due to scammers or idiots, like the no-vehicle areas everywhere.

A simple solution is to reward an active playstyle with a treasure chest that appears at different times and places, e.g. one after 5 minutes and the next after 1 hour / or vice versa (totally random time). This chest should not have any hitbox so you have to constantly look for it when it appears and then run up to it and right-click on it to get the contents, the chest can only be seen by your own avatar and counts down the time from e.g. 10 minutes to 0 and then disappear. The chest could for example contain pills with 0 TT value that add some game-specific boost, weapon/tool amplifier or similar with a certain number of uses before it breaks. Naturally, everything you get from the chests can be sold.. to create MU in the game ! The most important thing is that the content is so good that the player feels that it is more rewarding to open the chests than to play afk!

Maybe even total the time of active gameplay and reward each month or VU whatever, incentives to play is whats needed not restrictions

So I logged in through Steam today and there were some changes in the EULA apparently since I got the prompt to accept it. I looked at it briefly and there was a part that said that MA will monitor players' activity to determine if they're using prohibited third party software. I'm not sure if that part was there before or not, but if it's new, it might point towards a change in policy, and a welcome one at that.

stop afk crafting bots too!!!

looks not a worst idea, i agree
but if they dont press yes tp them to some location like jail, and you can out by speak to npc, some iteract for that

I never even heard about this bottling, although my vision is not so good and I am slowly going blind. I have to look real close on screen to see anything sometimes, so use often use sound to augment my perception. I try to balance my life and how much time I spend on video game, but I refuse to spend it all my last breath to look at computer screen, especially just to please you.

edit:
who want to spend money on that, I think you live in a dream world if you really think someone gonna look at that all day, but I got a good idea we can outsource the monitor of reported avatar to a space pirates
