Question: Resources regeneration?

Does anyone know how mining resources regenerate? Is it randomly, in a certain time or based on any mathematical formula? Also, does the resource regenerate in the same exact spot?

I have some mining exp and i can say as far as r4egening in the same spot i dont know about i never tracked that but im pretty sure the reg rate is closer to 6-8 hours as oppposed to 24 hours thats about as close4 as i have gotton...

Resources do not respawn in the EXACT same location. If they did we'd all know exactly where to drop bombs and MA would go broke. That said, the resources will be found in the same general area after a period of time. They are found in "fields" or "veins". If you find Zinc in 1 location, there is more Zinc in the area around it. There may also be other resources in the same area. I have found up to 4 different ores/enmatters while standing still.

They respawn just exactly like mobs do and the same goes for crafting so yes nearly instantly but not in the same location but in the same field.

They are spawned by your avatar when you drop a bomb and get the signal.

Im pretty sure that in this system resource out never exceeds resource in - and everyone still pays the decay.

I don't think that the proximity of these finds are a coincidence, which makes me sure that ores respawn in a similar area

Sorry for a very little off-topic answer:
MindArk will never go broke because of any profession whatsoever.

Even if it was like how you're describing it (assuming everyone drops a bomb and actually gets a find); some would profit depending on claim size, some would lose as always, but MindArk will always get the Extractor/Refiner/ (and Finder?) decay.
Your claims are not paid by MindArk but by bombs dropped by other players ,-)

On Topic:
AFAIK respawn is operated randomly, but is less than a day for sure.
Common sense would also say, if a miner went throught the zone and found nothing, the zone would have more ores when it respawns:
It would explain the numerous towers at Treasure Island teleporter (lots of miners drop a bomb or two there)
