Late Thursday evening on April 22nd, I was preparing to return to Calypso so that I didn't have to be concerned with getting there on Friday before my MidNite Moods show. However, prior to leaving, two unexpected things happened that caused the night to be drawn out longer than anticipated.

I first ran into a long-time, well-known colonist that caught me by surprise. There was a brief exchange of smiles and hellos, and then I was on my way, especially since this Entropia citizen was ending their evening out. I would mention the name, but I want to respect the privacy of this person. They can reveal themselves if they want to, but I shared this information because we just never know who we're going to run into while we travel the universe.

Prior to leaving the planet for Calypso, I wanted to at least make another trip through the mountain tunnel at the back of Club Neverdie to see if I could find that exit that I missed the first time around. It all blurred together last time, but this time I was able to connect with the extension of the tunnel to the outside.

Once I reached the true end of the tunnel, I could see by my radar that there were quite a few dragons clustered in one area. I pulled up my map to see exactly where I was and discovered that I could have hit the Pop Dragon population much faster than when I headed out North of the City of Dreams during my last exploration.

I was up for some fun, and wanted to see if I could lure a couple of them into the tunnel. The end result wasn't the outcome I wanted, but you'll have to watch the video to see what led up to it (I love antagonizing the dragons). :D

When I got back to City of Dreams, I was planning on calling it a night, but then my dear friend Skeezer from Irken Invaders sent me a private message and wanted to know if I was up to capture the Motorhead Stadium teleporters. I figured if he was willing to be an escort, why the hell not, so I extended my stay on ROCKtropia a bit longer before heading to Calypso.

I met up with Skeezer at the City of Dreams teleporter, and then we headed to the TP at Lemmy's Bridge. From there we ran South toward the Motorhead Stage Entrance which was an interesting run. We ran for a while along what seemed to be a paved highway (see video), but also across countryside where we met with Wolves and Vampire Chicks until we arrived at the Stadium Entrance.

There was no mistake that we were in Motorhead territory ...

Not sure what this pavilion-looking structure would be used for, but perhaps it was some kind of staging area, or maybe even a security check-point.

In the same location, there was a Land Area Configuration Terminal, which I assumed would most likely be used for special events that would take place at one of several stadium stages.

Speaking of security, the employed Motorhead security entourage at the Stadium Entrance is pretty lax, and we got through quite easily (they try though ... see video). I can say however, that as we got near the Main Stage, the security got a bit more serious.

After traveling further South, we reached the Stadium Acoustic Stage, which is still quite a large stage, but a bit less fanfare perhaps than the Main Stage.

The map at the teleporter showed the captured land area, and I found it quite interesting that at the teleporter, there were no terminals ... not even a revival terminal.

We then traveled West to capture the Stadium Main Stage teleporter, which opened up yet another very large land area.

The Main Stage area from atop the hill looked rather impressive, and quite large ...

As we moved in closer, it began to loom even more larger, and one could only imagine a huge crowd gathered around this enormous stage while Motorhead rocked them into oblivion. Before moving on to capture the last stadium teleporter, Skeezer and I paid our respect to this legendary band (see video for area footage).

It was time to move on to the Stadium Small Stage area to complete my teleporters. However, it wasn't without meeting up with some man eating Vampire Chick. They do have funny names. If she was a man eater, what was she doing messing with me.

We finally arrived at the Stadium Small Stage teleporter to bring it all full circle and open up all land areas on the map. Here too there were no terminals, nor a revival terminal. :scratch2:

At the end of this part of the journey, I have to say that it was an interesting exploration, and definitely gave me food for thought. However, I will save some of those thoughts for when I write the Summary of my excursion to ROCKtropia.

There is still plenty for me to explore, but I had to return to Calypso for my Friday night radio show. I will make the trip back to ROCKtropia perhaps on Monday in an effort to continue my explorations. In the meantime, I have prepared a little video to accompany this journal entry.

I had a little fun with a couple of Pop Dragons at the end of the mountain tunnel out of Club Neverdie, and then began my exploration with Skeezer. Running down a highway with him is nothing short of drama ... I took a little liberty in the video. :D I ran into a couple of interesting creatures, and ... I didn't know that Vampire Chicks could moonwalk.

*I'm SO going back to pop those dragons!*

nicely done as always my friend

Great write up and video MS9.

It was really fun running the TPs with you and my offer to get you to the Evil Cathedral still stands.

Oh and thanks for not making a big deal of how often I died and of how ignobly I did so; I'd be a might bit embarassed if word got out as to what a noob I am ;-)

Thanks Skeez ... and I'll take you up on that offer when I get back to RT. However, with regard to your death drama, there's no hiding the n00b status now since you just did a broadcast in print.

SIAN

Thanks again MS9!

You're welcome ... I'll be making another trip to ROCKtropia after I get through next week, which is end-of-term, and then I'll have more time to focus on my exploration and journal entries. :D
