Has anybody ever wondered what are they maintaining? Restarting servers 2h? Filling the loot pools? Feeding hamsters?

probably
- cleaning up the programming mess from their predecedors
- upgrading the hardware to the 20th century (yes I'm aware I did not say 21st century)
- give the mutant hamsters an hour or two to rest and get their genetic altering vaccines, as well as a tablet of soylent green.

Some of those construction terminals get awfully full over a weekend.

System checks, cache clean ups, applying system patches, checking security, auditing PED churn and adjusting the "dynamic" system for maximum effort to keep the people paid and lights on, making sure that avatar "Xerogs" carrot on a stick loot algorithm is reset to zero, lubing up the hamster wheels and getting the hamsters new booties as well as filling their nutrio and water dispensers among other things
