Skilling difference High HP/L vs Low HP/L mobs

I would also say the actual lvl of the mob compared to the avatar contributes to the skill gain as well. You had 175 skill increases of plasma tech with 0.049 on average per tick on living vortex(lvl75). And you had 224 skill increases of plasma tech with 0.025 on average per tick on the drill bot(lvl9). This is something I've noticed myself when skilling up from starting fresh 14 months ago and using the same weapon on similar hp/lvl mob's and not over killing, the lower the lvl compared to myself the lower the skill gain, the higher the lvl the bigger the skill gain. Something you could also test and see the results, maybe the Ravaging Living Vortex which is lvl 46 with a hp/lvl of 21.7 or the Young Flesh Ripper which is lvl 44 with a hp/lvl of 22.7 or even Ancient Sky Wraith lvl 59 with a hp/lvl of 18.6. Im not familiar with higher lvl mobs yet so that's all I could find when having a quick look
