Not me! Just nice to see others seeing what I see now. FPCMA will never really change. They change names often enough, but the people still stay the same...so the game stays the same...and so does the BS.

While there is a certain amount of "sour grapes" involved with people criticizing ubers getting the new drops, you have to admit it does look very suspicious. But, as we can't see how much ammo or skill everyone burns vs. the number of items they loot, it's just a conspiracy theory at this time.

How its going so far was mostly what i expected.

I did not expect them to release items the way they are tho. They seem to be releasing them batchwise, and you ened to be camping the mob that drops taht batch whent he batch is released. If you camp mob X for 2 months, then switch to Y and then X gets its batch released....sorry you miss out. Kinda dumb.

All creatures for the duration of SGA should be dropping stuff, not one at a time.


I think they should seed out items on creatures that dont normally drop them. You want uber items on uber mobs, thats fine, put the bulk of them there...but randomly throw a couple on some random mob. Give someone a nice unexpected suprise.

I've hunted pretty much nothing but big Atrox, spiders, Osseocollum, Warlocks, etc since SGA started and don't really have much to show for it. All of the good items drop while I'm at work, so I'm starting to wonder if hunting in EU isn't a good profession for people who aren't able to sit and grind all day. I'm sure MA and FPC would love the PR from a 6 year player who has poured in tons of money and never caught a break to show the details of just how bad it is for some players, while others seem to have things just fall in their lap with little effort. Stryker has been hunting like a madman lately, so he definitely deserves the MM he looted. The question is... Do the people who can't afford to play 24/7 deserve to get in on the good stuff? Six years of spread out hunting is less valuable than the same amount of hunting constantly over the course of a year or two? My patience is wearing thin.

Stryker has been hunting like a madman lately, so he definitely deserves the MM he looted.

The problem is; those who hunt as hardcore as him would know that he deservs this becuse time/money spent, but that is just becuse they understand the effort he putted into it that they can accept it, however the middle-low part of the community (which would stand for 80-85%) wont and most likely never will understand how much effort is put in. For them it is and will always be "A uber getting uber loot, becuse he is uber" <- i didnt even use as many "uber" as they would in just that short sentence.

So i dont know if there is even an idea to try to justifie someones loot nowdays anymore.

However, i got a really hard time to see why someone who started playing 3 days ago gets a 10-20k atrox young

Thats what I call the "casual" player approach, basically the same situation for me. The little time I have after work, chores and else, I spend on Calypso chasing....what?

I barely can afford the next hunt with my hunting returns, so seeing people hunting hour after hour is a daily "How do they do it?" mystery to me anyway.

Now the question here is... someone being able to afford to already hunt 24/7 or the highest ingame mobs. Does he really need to upgrade his gear?

Bear in mind I approach this from the upgrading point of view. The profit side is totally different.

My guess with no basis at all behind it is that there is a chance for the special items to drop, possibly with a cap as to the max number that will drop. I would be extremely surprised if, for example, there are exactly 10 of each Vigi (M) part that drops. I think at the end of it all the armor sets will be a good indicator of how it really worked, but we won't know till it's over.

We can't blame stryker for :-

Starting ages ago, and hunting like a mad man since.
Continuing to hunt harcore and use uber items gained during early days.
Selling uber items to fund his hunting (Tango was in auction a while ago at least that I saw).
Where MA/FPC choose to hide the items.
Lack of team hunting right now.

Richer people NOW may not always have been rich and i for one would be pissed right off if I had a tango and had to sell it...and see this as fate evening out the balance in my own game life.

MA have left some areas well out of the loop, miner for one seem forgotten as do crafters ...no matter how uber.

The only way to increase chances of looting nice SGA stuff is putting more time in...which means money sadly. IT could be worse, you could be one of the poor sods who can't even play anymore who can handle these mobs and had a chance to loot uber SGA stuff. Or broke due to the RL situation.

I hope that some SGA stuff worth having is hidden in chirpies or random mobs and lucky n00bs get them or casual players....but generally those types (like me) don't stand much chance really. SGA vigi will make me smile though if I'm lucky enough..which is why it's there after all.

Your pixie harness will have SGA edition in it's name...or it's normal and seperate. As for the timing and amounts...who knows ..we don't

He only came back just before VU10 update... before then he was inactive (as in not doing any hunting/mining/crafting) for about 2 years.

....On a slightly different note! I hereby announce that i shall quit the game for.... say maybe a couple of years! Upon my return i expect a mod fap in my storage. Thank you...

Btw i'm not hating stryker, im just saying MA should kind of balance things out abit more, hence take abit more control over loot system and not have it so random. Some may not say its fair, but at least players who have been hunting non stop for ages cycling through many peds over several months/years... get rewarded.

You can make the most fair contest in the world, but it wouldn't be much fun for everyone.

MA could have limited it so that you had a maximum of 10,000 ammo rounds to use for the "SGA" and during that time and only that time would you have a chance to win an item. Then everyone with $10 could have had an equal and balanced chance to loot an SGA item. But then you wouldn't be able to win on anything you did the rest of the 4 months, or if they had to lock it to 10,000 rounds and out, no more hunting for 4 months!

Or did YOU want the level to be set to 100,000 rounds? or 10,000,000 rounds? or 500 rounds?

MA made it as fair as they could make it. You have the chance to loot something every time you open that loot window.

Avatars with 200,000 peds on their card have a great many more opportunities to open that loot window than someone with 200 peds on their card.

It doesn't mean the game is rigged. It doesn't mean the SGA is rigged. But if you get a chance at a prize every time you spin the wheel, they who can spin the wheel more times, can usually collect more prizes.
