Well I dont want to pay to go somewheres and have it suck balls to be honest. They should have made the first flight to and from there free to make it like a demo or a test drive.
 
I plan on keeping my roots here, but I do plan on visiting other planets in the future from time to time.

Planet calypso is a home we know for years. It'as familair and we know stuff here. Rocktropia is a different yet the same game. Personally i not that keen on rock themes. So it seems it's also a personal taste if you like the planet or not. Also the fee between planets is high but expected. Everybody knew about the fee. I checkec it out but found myself homesick to Calypso :)

Yeah I agree. I would think that with new planets coming out, they are going to redouble their efforts to make Calypso better because they don't want us leaving.

Honestly, it's a really good thing for the players that new planets are coming, because the competition between planet partners may keep the cost/fun ratio in our favour.

Or I could be wrong and loot will still suck, but we can hope right? :D
 
I may go back once in a while but for the most part I will be staying on planet

It's also half the monthly subscription to another more popular mmorpg.
 
went there.. can't even loot noobie items.. all mobs drop are L axes and guns.. no armour even pixi.. ffs all oils..

shit loot...

cycled few hundred ped still couldn't loot zk1 waste of time.
 
1 night on rocktropia was more then what i can handle... im a father now :D
 
what I say may be unpopular but due to quality of content other than the zombies...

rocktropia is the ultra vegas style whore harlem of this universe.. and I am not going back... :D
 
i find the travel costs not really a problem
it is ok even that they are high so yes ppl said on one planet a long time and dont go planet hopping

so we get alot of different playerbases and different economies
what is needed then is also

is different ores/blueprints and different looted items

atm that is not the case so yes 80 peds travel costs for just different scenery is too much

didnt go there yet maybe later today or later this week

Well, I actually had planned to leave Calypso as soon as there are alternatives ...

But to be honest, what I have seen now from RockTropia doesn't make me want to blow 80 PEDs for a sight seeing - maybe me is just too old & has seen enough real boobs already?

I'd like to visit, to check out for mayself, but this "planetary storage" thingie, and the costs for the TP are just repelling at the moment. There would need to be more content catering me to accept this.

Well, maybe the next planet will suit me better? Or the RockTropia ppl will sponsor me a free ticket one day? We'll see.

Too expensive for a sweater like me to even visit just to check it out.

I will be staying on Calypso, probably for a long time to come.
 
I know here some ultra-mega-super-uber-pro players that can shit on the 40 PED fee, but me as a non-depositor with only a month of play, I can't afford travelling to rocktropia.

I cannot help myself - but from I saw here on EF - all rocktropia seems pretty primitive. All that boobs vixens, zombies etc.,...childish, stupid childish.
Probably a planet for idiots :lolup:
 
Little sister was at RockTropia yesterday. Nice nice ... but nothing else than Calypso. She killed some mobs and ran around a bit ... some new TPs, she turned off the annoying music and came back. That's it. No need for me to do the same ;)
 
Does anyone happen to know if there's a "story" behind Rocktropia? Like Calypso is being colonized and blah blah.
