Gday New and Noobed!
So you just hit planetside and found that sweating isnt much fun when trying to make a living, begging is a morale killer and wandering around listening to chatter around the cities and camps is worse than twitter on a pager...so what now?
Give up? Quit? Cry?
Bagmans fiendishly clever mind has come to the party for noobs.....
LOST IN TRANSPORTATION
I will become lost in the toxic wastelands to the NW of Port Atlantis (Yellow Zone) and will transmit a distress signal in the forum nearer the time (starts August between the 6th and the 9th) and in game when in the zone.
Any player may venture in and brave the creatures that dwell amongst the strange and wild landscape however the first person to find me must add me as a member of their team...check on how to make a team and add other players to it. Anyone who wants to rescue me will need to make the team name.."BAGMANS SAVIOUR" and once I have joined the team I will place my avatar on FOLLOW. If my saviour is killed trying to lead me out of the toxic wasteland by creature or is hijacked by another player and killed then they will have to form a team with the same name and do the same....make it out of the yellow zone with me on follow. I will continue to drop a team if my saviour is killed and follow the next saviour and so on.
The aim of this game/skill based test is to assist you in evading other players, using map cocords, avoid/killing creatures/players if you possess weapons or using tactics to make it out alive and unharmed. Before someone in authority places this in the event threads I have placed it here to allow noobs to read it mainly rather than more experienced players. I will scan players and will set a benchmark/cutoff in my opinion when noob is no longer noob...more to follow on that soon.
I will be donating prizes to those who give it a go and a special prize for the one who gets me over the yellow arc-line.
I will post more info and answer questions as time passes.
Its a simple game so please dont get hung up on questions on vague possibilities and what ifs..... simply find me, add me to your team with team name specified and run like hell with me following and make it out of the zone.....VERY SIMPLE....oh and I will throw in a curveball during the actual rescue! So be ready!
So keep skilling and watch the calendar and watch for more news....
