game-booster from iobit does wonders for slower pc's and crappy vidcarts.

http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html

basicly the worse pc you have the more it will do for you

with this app i go from from med to med/high (8600M)

as a excample on what shitty machines stil capable of running entropio (and yest with textures lol)
it runs on my cousins laptop 2:
celeron 1gig
898 sd ram <<< this is the total memory
intel r4 vid chip 256 shared

also runs on this machine at my friends work

p4 1.8 gig or so not sure
512 ram
geforce 6200 256mb

+ rep for the programmers that a pretty damn impressive minimal requiremend for cry2 engine

I will for sure test this. I need to get EU up and running on my laptop.

Hardware Requirements
300 MHz processor or faster processor
256 MB of RAM
30 MB of free hard disk space

Ohh, why doesn't EU have this? ;)

And yes, looks like it's worth a try.

This looks pretty good! Im gonna try it on the slow puters and the fast one!

+rep!

Thanks for this info and link. Tried the programme and it definitely works, it turns of all that your computer doesn't need, when game is over it turns em back on again.

I've been using this program for quite some time, and I have to say that it's done nothing but impress me. Some days of lots of lag can be easily fixed by running this.

I believe that in the past players have had their accounts locked for using a similar type service.

MA frowns upon nearly any program that runs in the background and interacts with Entropia.

Actually it doesn't interact with entropia at all..

It just shuts down services that you don't need while playing, something that you can also do manually on your pc

Cool stuff, got to test it :)

Definitely giving this a try. Running on a laptop is convenient, but a pain in the ass for performance.
