Sweat in auction petition

No matter what, it will never happen... so why bother?

The whole point of not having it in auction is because they want newbies to connect with others socially by having to sell personally.

No, there is just a forum rule against necrobumps.

This is the reason why you cannot edit the opening post anymore, too.



I think you will not dispute that the majority of people on your list have left EU for good, and if this thread is a real thing and not only a "look at me" or repfarming thread you can always make a new one (and post a link to the new version here before this thread gets locked) - or do you think any MA official will take this old-as-dirt petition for serious?

First of... Threatening with neg reps for stating, in my opinion, a very relevant opinion? That's just childish. Furthermore I have not idea why you drag my thread in to this and even why, and a negative attitude? I should think that any sensible person would agree that it is in fact you who provide the negative attitude.

Take my opinion for what it is, like it or not and if you wish, do neg rep me, though that is not a efficient way of earning my respect.

Fact is that this is a very old thread, though if people believe it should be kept alive, who am I to argue. It did however not make a difference a billion years ago and I doubt it ever will, and even if it did, it would make no difference at all, beside lowering the sweat price even further. I wouldn't really mind that, but I'm sure a lot of other people feel differently.

Anyway I'm getting ahead of my self. All I really wanted to do was to let you know who is actually providing the negative attitude. I'm only providing my opinion, it is done and will not be repeated.

Backdoor moderating in a thread, which is completely unrelated to forum moderation, is not related content.
Pointing out in a snarky manner that people have broken rules in said thread, whilst breaking a few on your own, does not win you any arguments nor respect points.
Finally, ending a post with You're the one pointing out others flaws, not me! is rather ironic.

This just proves this is an age-old issue not that it is no longer relevant.

In fact, I would ask that this thread be transferred somewhere it can gather the attention of the proper authorities (the Dev's Corner, perchance?).

Maybe they won't allow sweat to be auctioned but there's definitely a problem and it must be fixed.

I mean, sweat is just a couple of years away from reaching less than 1 PED/k. That would completely close the doors to new players and non-depositors. Just because we don't deposit it doesn't mean we aren't part of EU's dynamism. We don't just stash money away, you know. And it's next to impossible for a non-depo to withdraw, so we aren't negatively affecting the economy in any way.

Way over 4 years since you started this thread, and you have not even 200 people signing your petition.

I even bet i can make a "Don't make sweat sellable in auction" counter-petition and get more people to sign that...



Your anal retentive obsession to keep this thread alive, despite countless people with more brain having told you that sweat in auction would very likely completely kill the sweat price... makes me wonder:

Why do you need this thread so desperately?

Does it make you feel of use, of importance to the community?

Indeed, you are unable to update the OP for threads either inactive for a period of time or older than period of time.

As this thread is now approaching 4 and a half years old, this would be the reason :)
