It was fun doing support for you guys as always.

Since my job was to find and tag enough mobs for Kev, I didnt spend much ammo, but had fun.

So when my coundry didnt eaven bother to join WOF, why not help out the best team?

Next time though please don't tag Skalman coz I don't think he and his Tango likes me very much ;)
 
I know this is early, but Ireland would like our match with you to be on Sunday at 16:00. Please let us know if this is ok.

I've got a few thoughts which I'll try to get to you tomorrow, and I would urge the others to provide some feedback also if they haven't already done so, even if it's just to say everything was fine.

With our Captain Akiran being offline with technical problems I'd better start making provisional plans.

Edit: just checked and it seems we're playing Romania next not Ireland...but good to know everyone's availability as early as possible so will everyone please post their preferred match time in this thread as soon as possible.

I'll call a team meeting for Friday, 20.00 hours MA time at usual meeting place. This will give Akiran more time to get back online.

Saturday 22:00 i can do, and I can make sunday 08:00 too, although my aim may be a bit off due to eyes being half closed still :ahh: :D Saturday afternoon is possible, i'll know for sure by the time the fixture is arranged. Sunday afternoon is not possible unfortunately. I may be able to lend an occasional hand as before on a sunday afternoon but not to stay on all 3 hours unfortunately.
 
Hi,

I will not be able to make any of the times this weekend. There is a slim possibility that I may make the 1600 Sunday slot so if I do I'll join in the support role.

I have weekend commitments for the next couple of weeks.

Well, a good job done by all, i personally would like to thank the support team for making hunting so easy, a big thanks to Ravaj and Razor, the ones that helped me.

I think the tactics were spot on, when you consider all the other scores on the day, and i think the support won the day for us.

If selected, i can make all the suggested times except saturday at 14.00.

Lets make sure we all pull together and win the next match :)
 
I am available for:

Saturday 14.00 hours MA time

or

Sunday 16.00 hours MA time

I guess I could make the Sunday, 08:00 hours MA time if necessary

I know I'm a bit late with this but well done England.

Bearing in mind the score I would suggest that the tactics were spot on.

Sadly, I won't be able to offer support vs Romania at any time on Sunday. :(
 
I'm good for any of the listed times so count me in for sure.....and I hope to see many of you at the Friday meeting :)

If any of the England squad know that they won't be available over the remaining WoF weekends to take part in further matches please contact me as it could be in England's best interest for that person to step aside to let someone else join our final 12.

These are the official time slots available, as allocated by Hurrikane for the next match?

If so then all are fine with me, but I would rather avoid Saturday 14:00 due to the fact that I won't have much time before the start after finishing work (but can make the time no problem if I have to).

If this is the case, the person (re)joining first should be Dusk. :)

i could make them all, however sunday 0800hrs ROFL.....sunday late afternoon would be better for me

I'm pretty sure Mandy...well I found Hurrikane's quote that it was OK to use the times available from the last match and if I'm wrong I'm sure he'll pick up on it and post something here.

Firstly, I would like to congratulate the team on a great effort. This result will strengthen our position in the group and will hopefully see us into the next round.

However, we have a lot of work ahead of us as I'm sure you are aware. I am keen to discuss the actual tactics used on the day and whether we need to tweak them, although, looking at the result, I would say this is probably not the case.

And now for my apologies. I wish to apologise for not being available for you guys. Before I went away my broadband line went down and is still down, something which I am investigating with BT at this time. I was intending to utilise my friend's PC over the weekend, but when I arrived, I found out that it was not working either, which meant I was unable to get online.

Hopefully my line will be fixed by the time the meeting comes about.

Any plans for a team meeting before thurday midnight to discuss team format etc?

In associated news I got my hands on an a106 amp so should be able to do a few extra points of damage when called upon :yay:

Good to hear from you and I hope you're back with the team in person soon.

Technical problems can strike any of us any time so just one of those things.

I'll pm you the tactics we used in our first match...basically we adjusted tactics slightly based upon up-to-the-minute intelligence out in the field.

Razor I'll discuss with Akiran via pm thoughts on team selection, tactics and meeting but in the meantime we need the remaining members of our squad to post their availability and preferred match time(s).

OK...Goose, Lighter Thief and Corby...have you three lost interest in the WoF?

My view is that if people are going to take available places in our squad of 12 they should keep their eye on this thread and be fighting for a place in each and every match.

Considering that we need to inform Hurrikane of the day and time of our next match by midnight tomorrow (Thursday) it isn't good enough to be still waiting for 3 of our squad to respond.

If it was up to me I would kick the above from the England squad if they failed to post by the end of tomorrow and replace them with more committed personnel.

Note this is nothing personal against any of the above, I just want the best for England.
 
It might be best if you PM them, Oracle. They might be blissfully unaware that their input is required. It was only after a year of using this site that I discovered the User Control Panel.

A PM is more of a nudge in the ribs to them.

Just pasting Hurrikane's instructions here...seems the early Sunday morning time is not an option for us after all:

Hi, all timeslots from last week can be used this week too, if none are suitable please PM me AS SOON AS YOU CAN!


Please contact the team you hunt against next and PM me the confirmed timeslot by THURSDAY MIDNIGHT if at all possible.

Oh, for the record, any team facing Australia also have the option of an 08:00 Sunday slot, and NO 16:00 Sunday slot. This only applies to those matched with AUSTRALIA.

Akiran has asked me to run things until his broadband Internet connection is back running OK.

I am going to propose Sunday, 16.00 hours MA time as our match time and we'll see if this is acceptable to Romania.

Also I would like to bring forward our team meeting to tonight if possible.

Could everyone now meet this evening (Thursday) at 20.00 hours MA time at Hades Outpost tp if possible?

Sorry about the short notice...if you can't make this new time please post below.
 
Should be able to make it tonight but not 100% for definite. Will do my best to be there.

If it's sunday at 16:00 I'm almost certainly going to be unable to make it :( at best I might be able to manage an hour of support work.
