Team Finland - look here

PK-match might be good idea, it won't take long anyway. If sendaran and wormie show up, I'll vote for PK.

Golden global is the option in case our toughest guys don't show up. It will be more thrilling then.
 
I was a little late on Sunday, but I had a bad migrene so it's good u got full team anyway. Sorry.

But anyway, I vote for Golden Global coz' I haven't done any PK (except killed Jenna Pornstar once in rig) but I can die good. ;)

Looking at the tied teams I'm very tempted to go for the PK option as I think we'd have the advantage. I'm not an uber PK freak, but during the previous LG I was randomly running around and was able to kill pretty much anyone who didn't have shadow/eon/supremacy and/or imp/mod fap with my AS-129 and plated Boar. But if we go for the global, I'd say we should just run to neconus with the full team.

If Im not wrong the mob has not been decided yet. But if there is more than one mob to choose from, we wil sure as hell hit the hardest with full firepower. Incase Im taking part I will carry some better equipment next time, like an armor :silly2:

Ill send a PM and see what team Serbia wants to. Now lets just hope thoose russians forfeit or get low scores! :evilking:

Completely mad hunting until we strike a global!

Russia have agreed to Forfeit.

Finland and Serbia must fight a Tie-Break.

Tie-Breaks should be shorter than the full hunts, and so only Start Times are needed to be confirmed.

Please decide between each team using your own Team Threads which method of Tie-Break you BOTH agree on, the Golden Global or the ShootOut.

Quick Rule Summary:

In both, Any team of up to 4 can be used from your Main Team of 8 OR your Substitutes. No Un-signed members can hunt in the team.

Golden Global: Teams arrive at the Stage 1 Start/Finish point, check in with the judge, wait to be told to Start, and hunt the Stage 1 Moblist. The first team to global on any listed mob signals the end of the Tie. Both teams return to the Start/Finish point for the announcement.

ShootOut: Teams arrive at Billy's SpaceShip Afterworld, check in with the judge, line up, are asked if they are ready and wait for the bell. Then most die, and one team goes through.

22:00 Friday 9th March

11:00 Saturday 10th March

20:00 Saturday 10th March

22:00 Saturday 10th March

10:00 Sunday 11th March

20:00 Sunday 11th March

So, I PMed Serbias teamleader and he said that they rather go for the golden global. He also said that 20:00 MA-time Sunday would be okay for them, but that he would PM me during today since he had to check with the whole team too be sure.

So, would it be possible for us to gather a team this time, and what are your opinions about it?
 
I'm available only at 22:00 friday or 20:00 sunday (MA-time). Somebody else can also show up if times don't match.

Sunday 20:00 is best for me, on friday i'm in hunting competition 21-22....
 
Sunday 20:00 is best for me too. Friday and Saturday morning are out of the question as I'm out of town.

Seems like its just we 4 who checks this thread activly, even though I have sent PM's out to everyone about it. Maybee they lost interest for it?

Well, still waiting for that PM from Serbia so we can confirm it, and let Hurrikane know about it.

Weee, will be joining with armour and more skills this time, so maybee I can be more effective ;)

Hmm... Still I feel that golden global is a little too luckbased, and I got no idea about how good I am with neconus. Feel free to provide cords through PM so I can check them out before the actual match. Otherwise I found a humoungus allophylspawn which allows me to take down 2-3 a minute. Even though I doubt neconus will be a challenge when we are teames up.
 
Michael said he was having problems with sunday-time (20:00 MA-time) but Dariuz will be a substitute I guess, I'll have to talk with him. If anybody else doesn't want to take part.

As it seems now, its we five who cares. It makes me sad that the others havnt shown any interest recently, aven one post a day would have made me happy :(

Well, at least it seems like we found a good time since it fits both teams good, if I got it right.

Lets just hope that it doesnt take 2hours 15mins the get the globals comming like last time :eek:

Must say that I am very happy that you and michael took the decision that we should go for allo's instead, otherwise we would have ben screwed :scratch2:

Hi all!

First of all, I´m sorry to hear the first qualifying round did not go as well as planned and I apologise for not beeing there to help out! I had trouble with my internet connection and today was actually my first login to PE for a couple of weeks.
About the upcoming qualifying on sunday... I will be participating in a big poker tournament starting 21.00 finnish time. The qualifying round starts 00.00 finnish time (22.00 EU time) if I´m right. That means that I will be able to participate in the qualifying unless my poker tournament goes really well.

Like I said, IF I won´t be there on sunday I have done really well in that tournament and that is why I´m throwing in an extra carrot! :eek:
IF I won´t be there, I promise to give one global (50peds) to each of those 4 hunters hunting for Finland on sunday if Finland qualifies for the next round! :yay:

One for Finland, all for Finland!
 
I thought it was 20:00 MA-time, maybe it has changed as Hurrikane typed 22:00 (MA-time?) too.

Zuuhou, if I don't get any extra peds for sundays match you can have my place then. I'll appear to rendezvous-point anyway, in case somebody is late or gives up before start.

But as Mora pointed out, it was actually 20:00 MA time, which means it will be the same time as your poker-torunament :(

So lets just hope you win big so you can deposit a shitload and buy us all immk2s ;)

There will be a stage 2 aswell, cause if not, Ill commit suicide....

As I said above, it crashed with his poker since it actually was 20:00. But you did speak with Darius, didnt you? If you have him on FL, could you check with him if it would be possible for him to join up incase you cant?

Also, I thought a little about Sunday. As it is the old moblist, we should go for neconus. But I relized that maybee it would be stupid to go 4 peeps on them?

I tried some of them, and Mora aswell. If we two did stick together, we could take down approx 1 small per minute. If we joing up on allo's we would be able to take down about 5 Guardian/Dominants per minutes.

So, what would be better!? 1 Neconu or 5 Allo's per minute!? I believe that Sendaran and Wormie are able to take them down quite quick together.

Also, this would make us take down 2 different mobs, which can bee good, since somedays some mobs just refuses to loot.

Just a thought though, let me know what you think.

And Mora, if you will be competing on Sunday Ill have a TP-chip, implant and ME for you, since it is golden global we need to be as quick as possible ;)
 
I was going to borrow tp-chip from Dariuz. I sold all me mind essence about week ago, so it is good that you have some for me.

Dariuz is having problems with his ISP, let's hope he will get his connection back for sundays match. I'll be there anyway as I said before. Just in case.

Allophyls might be good idea but I think neconus have bigger global-potential. There are no dense spawns for them but allophyls do have few, in my opinion.

Everybody else should express their opinions too.
 
Too bad the time was infact 20.00 and not 22.00. Like allready pointed out by Ridingdirty, I can not be there.

hi, i am not able to attend to night due to some IRL issues.
i am writing this through a friend. i will explain everything once i get home, approx. 22:00 MA time.
 
Explanations not necessary, we have got michael as backup. Dariuz is not able to take part due to ISP issues, he got new IRL-apartment during the weekend and he doesn't have any kind of internet connection there, yet.

Me, Michael, Wormie and Sendaran will be the team it seems.
 
End of our battle, Serbia got lucky with allophyl. Well, it was very nice event and we will be better next time.

Yea, too bad Serbia realized that they wouldn't have had any chance against us in PVP, they even admitted it themselves after the hunt. But according to the rules both teams have to agree on PVP, so now all I can say is just pfffft! :grumble:
 
Good effort Finland, but Serbia had the luck. Hope to see you primed and ready to re-claim some glory in FoF X.... a one-day international coming up after the WoF:)
